2	GUNFORHIRE (S Salee)	Rider warned that he must moderate the use of his whip.
3	WAIMEA (App S Uzair)	Crowded inside MONDAY at the 75M. Returned with exertional heat illness – 1000M/vet.
5	ENFORCE (App AB Riduan)	Squeezed at the start. Restrained off the heels of LITTLE MASTER at the 175M and then taken inwards, again steadied behind WAIMEA at the 25M.
6	LITTLE MASTER (L De Souza)	Stumbled on jumping. Returned lame off fore – 1000M/vet.
7	MONDAY (App AR Raiyan)	Tightened on the inside of CHER near the 75M.
10	M SEVEN (App M Lukman)	Raced wide in the early stages.

RACE 2 (R109) CLASS 5 (A) – 1250M (LONG COURSE)

To accommodate the International Simulcast timeframe, this race was rescheduled to start 5 minutes later at 1:50pm.

3	ARTEMISIA OF CARIA (J De Souza)	Slow into stride.
4	CONFIDE (MM Firdaus)	Rider questioned regarding his ride over the final stages. Reminded of his obligations to ride out to the end of the race. Returned having cast its near fore plate.
5	FLAMING PHOENIX (App AB Riduan)	Checked severely at the 1100M, striking the running rail, losing considerable ground.
6	DESTINY CHILD (SU Lim)	Returned having cast its off fore plate.
7	SILENT PRINCE (App N Varmah)	Eased behind horses at the 1100M.
8	MORE THAN OIL (J Daniel)	Shifted in sharply near the 1100M, crowding KUBERA’S CHIEF and FLAMING PHOENIX, causing both horses to check severely. Rider suspended.
10	KUBERA’S CHIEF (App R Nuqman)	Checked at 1100M

The Stewards inquired into an interference of KUBERA’S CHIEF and FLAMING PHOENIX near the 1100M. On inquiry, Jockey J Daniel, the rider of MORE THAN OIL, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) for shifting in erratically at this stage.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey J Daniel’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of four (4) Malaysian race days with effect from 24 January 2022 and to expire on 6 February 2022, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

5	LION KING (App AB Riduan)	Stumbled badly on jumping and veered inwards, colliding with MAINSTREAM. Returned having cast its off fore and near hind plates.

7	RAINBOW FISH (L De Souza)	Rider lost his whip at the 200M. Fined RM250/-.
8	ALL WHITE (App Clyde Leck)	Saddle slipped backwards at the turn into the straight.
9	TWENTY-SIXTWELVE (J Daniel)	Raced fiercely in the early stages and mistrode near the 1000M. Returned having cast its off fore plate.

Trainers WC Lim and R Lines were each fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for presenting EMPEROR WARRIOR and PRINCE PEGASUS respectively, with incorrect saddle cloth numbers for the above trackwork.
