The Panel of Stewards had decided that Races 8, 9 and 10 which were scheduled to be run over 1000M short course, will now be run over 1000M straight course today.
RACE 1 (R1295) CLASS 5(A) – 1600m(lc) TRINITY TIANJIN HANDICAP
BALBOA (HS Gill) raced wide from the 800M until the 400M.
BLUE EYED BOY (S Salee) had to be steadied passing the 300M when FLEDGELING (KC Wong) rolled out. Jockey KC Wong, the rider of FLEDGELING was shown the vision of this incident and was advised to exercise greater care under similar circumstances in future.
Jockey AK Lim, the rider of AGUERO had his whip accidentally struck off his hand at about the 900M by App P Mogun, the rider of RELIC WARRIOR.
App P Mogun, the rider of RELIC WARRIOR reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of RELIC WARRIOR revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of BLUE EYED BOY (S Salee) and HIGHLAND FALCON (App S Rosmizan) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 2 (R1296) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m(lc) TRINITY HANGZHOU HANDICAP
DARCI SUPER, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off hind sole, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MAGICAL TALENT (App WW Cheah) had to check shortly after the start, when GOOD TASTE (KC Wong) was taken in by ELUSIVE GENIUS (App S Rosmizan). App S Rosmizan, the rider of ELUSIVE GENIUS in the presence of his trainer, Ms S Hamilton was shown the vision of the incident and was advised to exercise greater care under similar circumstances in future.
Jockey HS Gill, the rider of SING DARCI reported that his mount could not handle the going today. The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer K Coetzee and Jockey HS Gill, the trainer and rider of SING DARCI respectively into the gelding’s poor performance today. Jockey HS Gill stated that SING DARCI jumped fairly, but never handled the going and was very disappointing today. Trainer K Coetzee explained that in its previous start, the gelding was drawn a wide barrier and today, from a good barrier draw, he was surprised SING DARCI did not jump better and he agreed that the gelding could not handled the going today. Trainer K Coetzee was advised that if he finds anything amiss with the gelding during the week, he must report back to the Stewards. SING DARCI which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/Vet) before being declared to race again and was impounded.
A post-race veterinary examination of DESTINY KNIGHT (App CC Foo) revealed no obvious abnormality. DESTINY KNIGHT which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/Vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 3 (R1297) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m(lc) TRINITY CHANGLE HANDICAP
MODRIC, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near fore sole, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MASTRO GEPPETTO (S Anandan) had cast its near fore plate whilst parading and had to be re-shod. This horse was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.
CHIEF CLERK (CK Tan) was slow to begin.
READY TO SMILE (HK Cheng) was slow into stride.
MASTRO GEPPETTO and KEEN DRAGON (S Muniandy) raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.
SIX EMPIRE (SU Lim) brushed the rails passing the 600M.
Jockey HS Gill, the rider of BORN A FIGHTER reported that his mount could not handle the going today.
Post-race veterinary examinations of HYDRANT (App A Suriya), BORN A FIGHTER and BUTCH CASSIDY (KC Wong) revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that MASTRO GEPPETTO returned having cast its near fore plate.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer N Azman, the trainer of CHERISH into the gelding’s improved performance today. Trainer N Azman stated that CHERISH had its form before its last start, was quite consistent and he was of the opinion that the gelding is better-suited by the going today. His explanations were noted.

RACE 4 (R1298) OPEN MAIDEN – 1200m(lc) TRINITY CHONGQING STAKES
[WEIGHT-FOR-AGE]
ASIA (AK Lim) had to be steadied and lost its position racing to the 800M, when RAIDEN HERO (M Yusri) shifted in. Jockey M Yusri, the rider of RAIDEN HERO was shown the vision of the incident and was advised to exercise greater care under similar circumstances in future.
NOVA HARBOUR (App N Varmah) was slow into stride.
EMIRATES WARRIOR (HS Gill) showed no early pace, despite being urged.
Passing the 800M, KYO (App WW Cheah) laid out and as a result, D’GREAT CHANCE (App P Haris) had to steady.
ACE’S WILD (App CK Khaw) raced greenly in the straight and shifted wider on the track.
A post-race veterinary examination of EMIRATES WARRIOR revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that EMIRATES WARRIOR and KYO returned having cast their near hind and off fore plate respectively.

RACE 5 (R1299) ENRICH STAKES A – 1200m (lc) TRINITY FOSHAN STAKES
[SET-WEIGHTS]
THE DODGER, a course scratching as it had sustained multiple cuts, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
WHITE CHIN (KC Wong) jumped away awkwardly.
CAPTAIN JAZZ (AK Lim) had to be steadied racing to the 1000M and shifted out across the heels of ROYAL RULER (S Salee) and lost ground.
ASPREY (SS Vanan) had to be steadied passing the 800M when over-racing and racing to the 150M, again had to be steadied to obtain clear running.
METIER STAR (J De Souza) raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.
The saddle on ASPREY slipped back racing to the 200M and racing to the 50M, had to be steadied to avoid the heels of BLACK AND WHITE (App S Saddam), which rolled in.
Jockey S Anandan, the rider of NOVA STRIKE reported that his mount could not handle the going today.
Post-race veterinary examinations of NOVA STRIKE, MR HANKS (R Rueven) and ASPREY revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 6 (R1300) COSMO C (SW) – 1800m (sc) TRINITY GUANGZHOU STAKES
Jockey HS Gill, the rider of SOON YOU THINK reported that his mount could not handle the going today.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer K Coetzee, the trainer of HALO INSPIRE into the gelding’s improved performance today. Trainer K Coetzee stated that the gelding is better-suited by the going today. His explanations were noted. The Panel of Stewards noted that HALO INSPIRE had been racing wide from its most recent start.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Jockey Z Khairil, the rider of BLUE DANUBE into the gelding’s poor performance today, as Trainer S Edwards was not on course. Jockey Z Khairil stated that the gelding did not traveled well at any stage of the race and failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure. He further explained that BLUE DANUBE compounded in its last start and his instructions were to settle and try to finish the race off. His explanations were noted.
Post-race veterinary examinations of BLUE DANUBE (Z Khairil) and LITTLEBITOFJOY (App S Hafis) revealed no obvious abnormality.
The state of track was upgraded to ‘Yielding’ after the running of this race at 3.30pm.

RACE 7 (R1301) CLASS 4 (A) – 1400m (sc) TRINITY ZHENGZHOU HANDICAP
ASPEN, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near hind cannon, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
COLCHESTER (App A Suriya) was slow to begin.
ZAHRAT JUMEIRAH (App S Saddam) was checked off the heels of LUCKY GIANT (KC Wong) at the 600M, when LUCKY GIANT commenced to weaken and again checked to avoid the heels of LUCKY GIANT at about the 500M.
Post-race veterinary examinations of WORLD HARMONY (App S Rosmizan) and DEADLINE DAY (App P Mogun) revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockey KC Wong, the rider of LUCKY GIANT reported his mount was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of LUCKY GIANT revealed that the gelding has returned with respiratory distress and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/Vet) before being declared to race again.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer K Coetzee, the trainer of LUWAK COFFEE into the gelding’s improved performance today. He stated that LUWAK COFFEE was better-suited by the going today and had improved from its recent racing. His explanations were noted.

MISE EN GARDE, a course scratching as it had sustained nail prick off fore foot, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
LION CONQUEROR was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 1.50pm.
ROC THAT (CK Tan) and CHAR SIEW (S Anandan) both jumped away awkwardly.
HAPPY DAYZ (App N Varmah) jumped away awkwardly and was slow into stride.
HUN YEANG ROAD (App S Hafis) was slow to begin.
FUNKADELIC (AK Lim) was checked shortly after the start, when CHAR SIEW shifted in and ROC THAT shifted out.
SMART EAGLE (App P Mogun) shifted out across the heels of TRINITY GRACE (SU Lim) at the 700M to obtain clear running.
A post-race veterinary examination of SPEEDY DEMON (S Muniandy) revealed no obvious abnormality.

IDEAL GUIDE, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore fetlock and suspensory, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
KING FORCE was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 3.00pm, as the gelding’s status for Equine Influenza/EHV vaccination is not current. Trainer Peter Lee was fined RM1,000/= in terms of MRA Regulation 20.3.1 as read with MRA Regulation 20.6.
ALWAYS D’GREAT which was up 19kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
Light rain fell prior to and during the running of this race.
TWENTYSIXTWELVE (App P Mogun) and MAIDANZ BEAUTY (App N Varmah) both jumped away awkwardly.
CASING ROYAL (S Muniandy) was slow into stride.
App S Saddam, the rider of PURPLE RAIN reported that his mount could not handle the going today.
App P Mogun, the rider of TWENTYSIXTWELVE reported his mount was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of TWENTYSIXTWELVE revealed no obvious abnormality.
A post-race veterinary examination of SING ROULETTE (KC Wong) revealed that the gelding had returned lame off fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/Vet) before being declared to race again.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that MAIDANZ BEAUTY returned having cast its near fore plate.

PROVOCATEUR and ONE MORE ACHIEVER which were down 16kgs and 20kgs respectively and FIELD FORCE which was up 15kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
ONE MORE ACHIEVER (App S Saddam) and HARVEYWALLBANGER (App CK Khaw) both jumped away awkwardly.
ROCK EAGLE (CK Tan) jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.

RACE 11 (R1305) ENRICH STAKES A – 1200m (sc) TRINITY SHENZHEN STAKES [SET-WEIGHTS]
ANONYMOUS, a course scratching as it had corneal ulcer of its right eye, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
The Panel of Stewards permitted Trainer MP Thwaites to remove the use of pacifiers on CELERITAS (App P Mogun) due to the adverse weather condition.
The Panel of Stewards ordered the withdrawal of CROWN STAR (J Low) at 6.02pm acting on veterinary advice that the gelding was lame off fore. CROWN STAR will be required to pass a test (1000M/Vet) before being declared to race again.
FLYING DARCI (App S Hafis) jumped away awkwardly and shifted out severely for some distance, resulting in TAFFETAS (App WW Cheah) being forced wider on the track. As a consequence, TAFFETAS and FLYING DARCI lost ground.
Z Khairil, the rider of RELAU STAR reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of RELAU STAR revealed no obvious abnormality.
A post-race veterinary examination of CELERITAS revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that FLYING DARCI bled and will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, passed a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon also reported that LAUS DEO (App S Saddam) returned having cast both fore plates.
