RACE 1 (R1147) CLASS 5 (B) – 1300M
Emergency acceptor, TRAVERTINE was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
Trainer PK Leong was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for failing to seek the Stewards’ permission for Jockey Z Khairil to ride 1½kg over on HACKER within the stipulated time.
FIRST OPTION (App KC Wong) was difficult to load and after being placed in the barrier, became very fractious and reared on several occasions. The gelding was taken out of the barrier and was withdrawn on veterinary advice at 1.24pm. FIRST OPTION will be required to pass one starting stall test before being declared to race again.
D’GREAT NIMBUS (App S Rosmizan) and SNOW DANCER (J Low) were both slow into stride and showed no early pace despite being urged.
GOLDHILL PRINCESS (App CK Khaw) stood when the gates were released and lost ground.
App S Rosmizan, the rider of D’GREAT NIMBUS reported that his mount failed to respond to his riding throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. D’GREAT NIMBUS which raced poorly will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Jockey R Rueven, the rider of VICTORY MARCH, reported that his mount could not handle the going today.
A post-race veterinary examination of VICTORY MARCH revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 2 (R1148) MAIDEN – 1300M
PULAU PINANG, a course scratching as it had a sore mouth, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
RASMEE (App KC Wong) and FLYING JOURNEY (HK Cheng) bumped on jumping.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MYSTICAL STAR (App R Ruwaidy) and NOVA DASHING (J Low) revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockeys I Saifudin and S Salee, the riders of GRAND CANYON and SNAGGLE PUSS respectively, reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of both geldings revealed no obvious abnormality.
App WK Lee, Jockey R Rueven, Jockey HS Gill and App AK Lim, the riders of GREEN MISSILE, BURGUNDY PRINCE, STRONG MAN and ELEGANT DANCER respectively, reported that their mounts could not handle the going today.

RACE 3 (R1149) CLASS 5 (A) – 1300M
MULTI WEALTH which was down 18kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
Jockey SS Vanan failed to arrive on course on time to fulfill his engagement on MR WHYTE. The matter will be investigated. The Stewards permitted Jockey Y Aify to replace Jockey SS Vanan on MR WHYTE.
Jockeys HK Cheng (SUPERB SEVEN), HS Gill (MAGIC RANGER), S Ruzaini (SATELLITE TURBO) and Z Khairil (SWISS BANK) and App AK Lim (TOTALITY) were each fined RM250/- under MRA Rule 152(5)(b) for disobeying the orders of the Stewards in that they were late out of the Weighing Room to take their mounts.
TOTALITY jumped away awkwardly and was slow into stride.
SATELLITE TURBO was slow into stride.
FORTYEIGHT QUEEN (J Low) had to be steadied at the 1100M when MULTI WEALTH (S Salee) rolled in.
App CK Khaw and Jockey HS Gill, the riders of ONE O NINE and MAGIC RANGER respectively, reported that their mounts could not handle the going today.
Post-race veterinary examinations of ONE O NINE, MULTI WEALTH, MAGIC RANGER and TOTALITY revealed no obvious abnormality, however, TOTALITY returned having cast its near fore plate.

RACE 4 (R1150) CLASS 5 (A) – 1300M
PROHIBITION which was up 18kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
I’M A GENIUS, a course scratching as it had respiratory infection, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
RUN CHEETAH RUN (SU Lim) showed no early speed and failed to respond to Jockey SU Lim’s riding.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that D’GREAT TALENT (HK Cheng) bled and will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
A post-race veterinary examination of RUN CHEETAH RUN revealed that the gelding returned lame off fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
A post-race veterinary examination of GALLOPY SWIFT (S Ruzaini) revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockeys F Yap and HS Gill, the riders of LUCKY GIANT and PROHIBITION respectively, reported that their mounts could not handle the going today.

RACE 6 (R1152) CLASS 4 (A) – 1200M
CIZEN MAN and FUNKADELIC, both course scratchings as they had cellulitis off fore and a nail prick near fore foot respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Emergency acceptor, BLACK GHOST was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
MAZANDARAN which was down 15kgs and AUDACIOUS which was up 32kgs in body weight since their last runs, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
ACE KING (R Rueven) was withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 1.00pm when the gelding did not arrive on course. Trainer PK Leong was fined RM1,000/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for failing to ensure that ACE KING was on course.
Trainer C Robert was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours on DOUBLE RAINBOW (App R Ruwaidy).
Jockey Y Aify, the rider of HEART FEELING dropped his near side rein shortly after the start.
FAT POWER (App KC Wong) shifted in slightly racing to the 1100M, resulting in TARZAN BOY (J Low) shifting in and bumping AUDACIOUS (S Anandan) on several occasions and causing AUDACIOUS to bump with HEART FEELING. Shortly thereafter, AUDACIOUS again had to be steadied when TARZAN BOY rolled in.
Post-race veterinary examinations of TARZAN BOY, HEART FEELING and MAZANDARAN (Z Khairil) revealed no obvious abnormality. However, TARZAN BOY returned having cast its off fore plate. MAZANDARAN which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

CIZEN, a course scratching as it was sore near fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Emergency acceptors, BEST DREAM and STIRLING were both withdrawn due to a capacity field.
D’GREAT GRACE which was up 39kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
DEADLINE DAY and I AM MIDAS which were down 17kgs and 16kgs respectively in body weight since their last runs, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
WINTERFELL (App CK Khaw) jumped away awkwardly and threw its head up.
BULL SPUR (App R Ruwaidy) was slow into stride.
D’GREAT GRACE (HK Cheng) dipped on racing to the 800M, then hang out and took POLO TYCOON (App AK Lim) wider on the track. D’GREAT GRACE continued to race wide until entering the straight. D’GREAT GRACE was eased out of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that D’GREAT GRACE returned lame near fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
App J Daniel, the rider of I AM MIDAS reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of I AM MIDAS revealed no obvious abnormality, however the geldibg returned cut near hind.
Jockey HS Gill and App CK Khaw, the riders of BRISTOL DIAMOND and WINTERFELL respectively, reported that their mounts could not handle the going today.
Post-race veterinary examinations of CHERISH (J Low), D’GREAT GLORY (App KC Wong), POLO TYCOON and YOU ARE GENIUS (M Yusri) revealed no obvious abnormality, however, YOU ARE GENIUS returned having cast its near fore plate.

Emergency acceptors, CHERON WARRIOR, TRIPLE COIN and ARCHAEOLOGY were all withdrawn due to a capacity field.
GHOST CITY which was down 19kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
The Stewards permitted Jockey J Low to replace Jockey SS Vanan on GHOST CITY.
Jockey Z Khairil was stood down by the Club Medical Officer. The Stewards permitted Jockey M Yusri to replace Jockey Z Khairil on CENTURY WORLD.
OUR FRIENDLY DIVA (R Rueven) had its near fore plate reshod at the barriers.
MARCO POLO (J Mallyon) shifted out on jumping away, resulting in MAGICAL TEN (App WK Lee), GHOST BANK (Y Aify) and SAND LANE (App CC Foo) being crowded for room and having to be steadied.
Racing to the 800M, MARCO POLO had to steady and lost ground.
CENTURY WORLD raced wide from the 800M until entering the straight.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MARCO POLO, LEE’S SURPRISE (S Salee) and SAND LANE revealed no obvious abnormality. SAND LANE which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

SLTC OFFICIAL BARRIER TRIAL – WEDNESDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2018
A post-trial veterinary examination revealed that RAINBOW FISH (W194) returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/Vet test before being declared to race again.
PNTC GENERAL REPORT
On 13th September 2018, App CT Lee provided a clearing urine sample and was cleared to
resume riding with immediate effect.
