First season trainer AB Abdullah took the training honours when saddled three winners in the card of 11 races at the one day Special Meeting at Selangor Turf Club on Saturday. Abdullah saddled Aljawhra to win in Race 4 and then took the following event with Radical Force and his third winner of the day with Showboy in Race 7.Trainer SY Lim saddled a double with Happy Buffalo in Race 3 and Streets Of Fire in Race 10.
Trainers with a single winner were Shane Ellis with Scorpion King in Race 1, Shane Edwards saddled Roger in Race 2, Charles Leck won Race 6 with Superstardom, Richard Lines winner was in Race 8 with Desire Sky, MW Teh managed to get a winner in Race 11 with Paltrow and Lawson Moy’s winner was in last race with Mewtwo.
Jockeys S. Anandan, Calvin Goon and R. Shafiq shared the riding honours with a double each in the card of 11 races.
Goon rode Happy Buffalo for a maiden victory in Race 3 and Mewtwo in Race 11.Jockey R. Shafiq’s double was in Race 4 with Aljawhra and in the following event with Radical Force.Anandan rode race to race double with Paltrow in Race 9 and Streets Of Fire in race 10.
Jockeys with a single winner were Z.Khairil with Roger in Race 2, HS Gill rode Superstardom to win in Race 6, Brazilian Jose De Souza rode Showboy to win in Race 7, Apprentice WW Cheah got the winner in Race 8 with Desire Sky and AK Lim rode Scorpion King to win in the opening event.
