First season trainer AB Abdullah took the limelight with four winners in the card of nine races at the one day Novelty Race meeting at Selangor Turf Club last Saturday. The Singaporean started his quest in Race 2 with Showar (KC Wong), took the following event with Lincoln City (Salee). He saddled Bahar (KC Wong) to win Race 5 and his fourth winner of the day in the last event with Super Dragon (Pinheiro).Trainers Charles Leck and SY Lim got a double each respectively Leck got his winner in Race 4 with Ausone and in Race 8 with Nova Spirit both ridden by Jockey S Ruzaini.While Trainer SY Lim’s two winners were in the opening event with Musang King (AK Lim) and in Race 7 with Paragon Star (SU Lim).
Leading trainer Richard Lines saddled a winner in Race 6 with Desire Sky (L De Souza).
Jockeys KC Wong and S. Ruzaini shared the honours with a double each in the card of nine races last Saturday. Wong rode his two winners for trainer AB Abdullah, astride Showar in Race 2 and Bahar in Race 5.While S. Ruzaini rode his double for trainer Charles Leck on board Ausone in Race 4 and Nova Spirit in Race 8.
Jockeys with a single winner were AK Lim (Musang King, Race 1), S. Salee (Lincoln City, Race 3), L De Souza (Desire Sky, Race 6) SU Lim (Paragon Star, Race 7) and Brazilian Bernando Pinheiro (Super Dragon, Race 9).
