Trainer Richard Lines’s Ready To Rock, is certainly a class material and has a potential to be racing in top class soon. The five-year-old by Ready’s Image with in form Jockey Jose De Souza on board, came with a pulverising run in final 300m from home to beat Listen drawing way in the Back-To-Back Champ Trophy over 1600m. Judging from that performance, Ready To Rock will be even better suited over a longer trip and could be a likely favourite in the Piala Emas Sultan Selangor in the last leg of the ever popular Triple Crown Series which will be run over 2000m on 7 October.
Simon Dunderable trained First Precinct is back on the winning circle in Class 4 over 1400m in Race 5. The six-year-old by More Than Ready was tucked in midfield at the early part of the race and came with a determined run at the closing stages of the race to beat Star Strike.
