Apprentice S Uzair displayed his uncanny skills when rode four winners at Selangor Turf Club over the weekend.
He rode New Sensation to victory in Race 2 on Saturday and was in great form on Sunday, he rode Thank You Boss to win Race 5 and in Race 8, he rode Walking Thunder to victory and got his fourth winner in Race 9 with Easy South East.
Jockeys R Rueven and S Ruzaini both rode a double each respectively.
Rueven rode One Force to win in Race 4 on Saturday and on Sunday, he rode Violet to victory in Race 6.
Ruzain’s double were on Sunday in Race 4 with Come Take All and in Race 10 with Colchester.
Riders with a single winner on Saturday were SU Lim rode Sun Force to win Race 1, CK Khaw rode Jet Twenty to win in Race 3, Jackson Low rode Semantan Prince to win in Race 5, KC Wong rode Jabbar to win in Race 6, Apprentice Z Zuriman guided The Crown Jewel to victory in Race 7, Jockey Shankar was on board Mighty Phoenix to win in Race 8 and Brazilian Jose De Souza made a comeback victory on board Sand Bank to win in Race 9.
Riders with a single winner on Sunday were R Shafiq rode Blue Eyed Boy to win the opening event, Jockey HS Gill rode Horseh to win in Race 2, Apprentice A Suriya successfully guided All White to victory in Race 3 and up and coming Apprentice Shawn Sia steered Crazy Dreams to win in Race 7.
Veteran trainer Malcolm Thwaites took the trainers honour when saddled four winners from the card of 19 races at Selangor Turf Club over the weekend.
Once a Champion Trainer in the local circuit, Thwaites saddled One Force in Race 4 and in Race 8 with Mighty Phoenix on Saturday and on Sunday he saddled Blue Eyed Boy in the opening event and his fourth winner was in Race 4 with Come Take All.
Trainer Charles Leck and Lawson Moy saddled three winners each.
Leck’s winner on Saturday was in the opening event with Sun Force and on Sunday with All White in Race 3 and in the last event with Colchester.
Trainer Lawson Moy’s three winners were in Race 2 on Saturday with New Sensation and on Sunday, he saddled Thank You Boss to win Race 5 and capped a great day in Race 8 with Walking Thunder.
Trainers Richard Lines, Simon Dunderdable and AB Abdullah manage to saddle a double each.
Lines winner on Saturday was in Race 3 with Jet Twenty and Sunday in Race 7 with Crazy Dreams. AB Abdullah’s double were on Saturday in Race 6 with Jabbar and in the following event with The Crown Jewel.
Trainer Dunderdable’s two winners were also on Saturday in Race 5 with Semantan Prince and in Race 9 with Sand Bank.
Trainers with a single winner were Johnny Lim on Sunday in Race 2 with Horseh, Shane Ellis in Race 6 with Violet, former jockey turned trainer Peter Lee saddled Easy South East to win in Race 9.
