No More Delay proved to be an easy winner in race 8 on Saturday, leaving his competitors well beaten in a commanding victory. The Selangor Turf Club hosted a 12 race card on Saturday and saw No More Delay outpace the field with ease, crossing the finish line more than two lengths ahead of the nearest challenger.

NO MORE DELAY IN THE WINNERS BOX

Ridden by jockey SU Lim, No More Delay displayed plenty of speed and composure from the moment the gates opened. SU Lim had No More Delay at the front early on, setting a pace that left the rest of the field scrambling to catch up. With each stride, it became increasingly evident that no horse would be able to overtake the front-runner, as No More Delay maintained a comfortable lead throughout the race.

This victory marks No More Delay’s sixth career win, further solidifying his reputation as a consistent and reliable runner that seldom misses the first three as he has yet to have missed the placings since moving to Malaysia. His impressive record continues to grow under the guidance of trainer W Lim, who not only has played a pivotal role in shaping the horse’s success, but celebrated a double on the day as Mochi won the second race, which was the first of a double for jockey SU Lim as well.

The build up to the first leg of the Triple Crown Series is well under way as we are just two weeks away from the Equine Sanctuary Tunku Gold Cup over 1200m. Make sure to mark your calendars as it is certainly a racemeeting you don’t want to miss out on and marks the first G1 for the year at the Selangor Turf Club.
