Five year old galloper, MICHIKAWA is a genuine chance of repeating his most recent winning performance when he lines up in the 1775m Class 4 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Making his fourth appearance for the Frank Maynard yard, MICHIKAWA came with a late flourish when stepping up to the 1500m here two weeks back scoring decisively by 2.5 lengths.

The New Zealand bred gelding has proven his versatility by winning over a range of distances and was successful over 1800m at his previous win just over twelve months ago.

MICHIKAWA rises in the weights but has the best record over this distance range and looks on track for successive victories this weekend.
