DUNDERDALE’S FIRM GRASP ON THE PACIFIC CUP
Leading trainer Simon Dunderdale is poised for a strong showing in Sunday’s RM 100,000 Three-Year-Old Pacific Cup at Kuala Lumpur, fielding two of his stable stars as part of a three-pronged attack.
Unbeaten in five starts, ANTIPODEAN is coming off arguably his best performance, having recently bested G1 Derby winner Trumpy here just a fortnight ago. He looks to be the one to beat at the weights. Talented stablemate MILITARY FLAG, boasting four wins from seven starts, has already proven himself against top-tier competition and aims to make amends for his last start defeat. In contrast, CHARMING WIN, while consistently placing, is still in search of his first victory after eight minor placings from nine starts.
Among the competition, Ipoh visitor VINCENT’S STAR is noteworthy, coming off an impressive 3.5-length win on home turf against STARLIGHT GLIMMER. LAXON, fresh off a dominant five-length maiden victory last month, also presents a threat.
