Business Leaders had Fun with Family at Selangor Turf Club
About 60 people consisting of Members of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Malaysia Chapter, and their family members visited the Selangor Turf Club on Tuesday, 22 May 2019.
The Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) is the largest global network of Chief Executive Officers and business leaders, comprising approximately 27,000 members across 125 countries. Established in 1950, its mission is to support “Better Leaders Through Education and Idea Exchange”.
The Malaysia Chapter of YPO has been active for over 20 years. It has around 100 members who are predominantly owners or CEOs of their organizations. Their members operate in a range of industries and include family business owners and professional CEOs.
The visit includes viewing of morning track work, visit to the Veterinary Clinic, Horse Swimming Pool, Trainer Richard Lines Stables and the Equestrian Centre.
At the Equestrian Centre the children enjoyed the pony and carriage rides and the side events such as Face Painting and Art & Craft activities.
Trainer Richard Lines and Jockey Jose de Souza shared their racing experience and their day-to-day job duties with the group.
