RACE 4 (R870) CLASS 4(B)  -1400m (lc)  TAMBUN HANDICAP Race Video

CRACKING TOTTIE (App A Saran) threw its head up badly at the start, losing considerable ground.  At a subsequent Inquiry, App A Saran, the rider of CRACKING TOTTIE in the presence of his master Trainer T Asogan was found guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 44(10) for failing to ride to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

The details of the charge are that:

1. App A Saran failed to give the horse sufficient reins on jumping, resulting in CRACKING TOTTIE being fractious, throwing its head up badly and losing considerable ground.

In assessing the penalty, the Panel of Stewards took into consideration his riding record and mitigating factors.  App A Saran was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) month with effect from Monday, 8^th November 2021 and to expire on Tuesday, 7^th December 2021, both dates inclusive.  He was informed of his right of appeal (5.48 pm).
