RACE 1 (R1026) CLASS 5(B) – 1200m (lc) EQUINE NUTRITION AUSTRALASIA STAKE
Acting on a report from the Starter that PURPLE RAIN (App N Shahronnizam) was unable to be boxed, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 12.47pm. PURPLE RAIN will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.
LISBOA STAR (AM Aizat) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride.
LET’S COME ON BABY (KC Low) and LUCKY THIRTYNINE (S Saddam) bumped on jumping. Shortly thereafter, KRATOS (HK Cheng) which jumped awkwardly outwards, carried BOSSKU (S Ruzaini) onto LUCKY THIRTYNINE.
BAKUTEH (SU Lim) showed no early pace despite being urged.
FOUNTAIN OF FAME (HS Gill) was obliged to race wide in the early and middle stages.
In the home straight, LISBOA STAR drifted out away from the whip and finished the race wide.
Jockey Y Aify, the rider of PROVOCATEUR reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of PROVOCATEUR revealed that the gelding had returned with respiratory distress and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
A post-race veterinary examination of KRATOS revealed that the gelding had returned lame near fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 2 (R1027) CLASS 5 (B) – 1200m (lc) MAENA RACING MIX STAKE
TILSWORTH MICK, a course scratching as it had sustained a sore near fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Acting on a report from Trainer K Coetzee that App SN Shiva is not available today, due to personal reasons, the Panel of Stewards permitted App Z Syafifie to replace him as the rider of HAPPY THIRTYNINE.
Trainer K Coetzee was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours on MAGIC PLAYER (KC Low).
VAIN TYCOON (App P Haris) and WASHINGTON (App S Shazmin) jumped awkwardly.
HAPPY THIRTYNINE (App Z Syafifie) was slow into stride.
HAPPY THIRTYNINE was obliged to race wide in the early and middle stages.
Passing the 1000M-mark, JULIUS CAESAR (L De Souza) was crowded between GOLD PLAN (S Saddam) and MAGIC PLAYER.
Approaching the 400M-mark, CHERISH (S Salee) drifted in and bumped VAIN TYCOON.
A post-race veterinary examination of CHERISH revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that VAIN TYCOON return having cast its off fore plate.
When questioned with regards to the improved performance of JULIUS CAESAR today, Trainer K Coetzee stated that at its last start on the 20th of October 2024, apparently JULIUS CAESAR struck the near side gate on jumping and showed no interest thereafter. Following that, JULIUS CAESAR has been working well and did a good barrier practice and in his opinion, had contributed to the improved performance today. His attention was drawn to MRA Rule 117(3) regarding in-and-out running.
The state of track was upgraded to “Good” after the running of this race.

RACE 3 (R1028) CLASS 5(A) – 1200m (lc) KAWAN ENGINEERING STAKE
BALIN (S Ruzaini) and RAHOTU (AM Aizat) were slow into stride.
BIG G (SU Lim) was crowded shortly after the start when NAUGHTY KID (App Clyde Leck) which drifted in and RETALLICA (HS Gill) which drifted out, losing ground.
Approaching the 1000M-mark, GEORGETOWN (R Rueven) was crowded for room when STORM TO WIN (Y Aify) laid inwards, carrying FAST AND SUPER (S Saddam) onto GEORGETOWN. At about the same time, NAUGHTY KID laid out momentarily.
BALIN and RAHOTU raced wide in the early and middle stages.
Passing the 500M-mark, NAUGHTY KID had to be steadied inwards to avoid the heels of STORM TO WIN.
Jockey R Rueven, the rider of GEORGETOWN reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of GEORGETOWN revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of FAST AND SUPER revealed that the gelding had returned with respiratory distress and RAHOTU revealed no obvious abnormality. FAST AND SUPER will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 4 (R1029) CLASS 5(A) – 1600m (lc) MITAVITE ASIA CUP
MR HOPKINS, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MAVERICK (SU Lim) raced keenly in the early and middle stages and thereafter, drifted out under pressure in the concluding stages.
FAMOUS NAME (HS Gill) was hanging in in the straight.
Passing the 400M-mark, MASTER JIANGMEN (App N Shahronnizam) drifted out under pressure and finished the race wide.
Passing the 200M-mark, MAVERICK commenced to shift outwards from the whip.
SILENT PRINCE (S Ruzaini) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Jockey S Ruzaini, the rider of SILENT PRINCE reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of SILENT PRINCE revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of KING’S SPEECH (S Saddam) and HENG XING (AK Lim) revealed no obvious abnormality.
When questioned with regards to the improved performance of MASTER JIANGMEN today, Trainer T Asogan stated that the gelding was suited to the good going, the apprentice claim together with a good barrier practice on the 15th of October 2024, in his opinion had contributed to the improved performance. His attention was drawn to MRA Rule 117(3) regarding in-and-out running.

VILLAGE TYCOON (App P Haris) and BLACK TAIPAN (App H Haikal) were slow into stride.
SWALLOWS STRIKE (SU Lim) was trapped wide at the backstraight.
App H Haikal, the rider of BLACK TAIPAN reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of BLACK TAIPAN revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of VILLAGE TYCOON, BULL RUN and ADIRA PEGASUS (App Z Syafifie) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RAGNAR (KC Low) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride.
MEGA GEMS (AK Lim) hesitated at the start and was slowly away.
LADY POH (S Ruzaini) took the first turn wide.
The saddle on ARTHUR PEGASUS (Y Aify) slipped back during the running.
RAGNAR had a tendency to lay out and finished the race wide.
Post-race veterinary examinations of LADY POH revealed that the gelding had returned with respiratory distress, BERRY BLISS (App Clyde Leck) revealed no obvious abnormality and QUICKEN AWAY (R Rueven) returned having bled. As such, LADY POH will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again and QUICKEN AWAY will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.

STYLE OF DRAGON (AM Aizat) hesitated and was slow into stride.
MGR ROCKET (App Z Syafifie) raced keenly and was difficult to settle in the early stages.
D’GREAT OCEAN (App S Shazmin) and WINNING SMILE (S Saddam) raced wide in the early and middle stages.
Approaching the 300M-mark, MGR ROCKET shifted in to obtain a clear running.
Passing the 200M-mark, STYLE OF DRAGON was drifting out under pressure.
Post-race veterinary examinations of ANOTHER SHOW (App H Haikal) and D’GREAT OCEAN revealed no obvious abnormality.

The report dated 30th October 2024 (V24/168) from the Chief Analyst of Usains Biomics Laboratory stated that 29 coded urine and 33 sets of coded blood samples from the above-mentioned race meeting were received on 20th October 2024, for analysis under the MRA Rules and Regulations. No prohibited substances were detected.
