At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey SU Lim, the rider of CITY KNIGHT, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to VOLCANIC at approximately the 600M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey SU Lim’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of three (3) Malaysian race days, to be deferred, with effect from 4 November 2024 and to expire on 17 November 2024, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
At the conclusion of an inquiry, Apprentice Clyde Leck, the rider of PERFECT BRANDZ, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to SUPERB SWEYNESSE at approximately the 800M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Apprentice Clyde Leck’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days, to be deferred, with effect from 4 November 2024 and to expire on 10 November 2024, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Apprentice PH Seow the rider of IPOH KAIGEH, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that she failed to ensure that she did not cause interference to OLIVER KHAN shortly after jump. She was also founded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that she failed to ensure that she did not cause interference to LOVING BABE, AFTERMATH, PERFECT MISSION, and PACIFIC CHARM approaching 800M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Apprentice PH Seow’s mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. As a result, she was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race days with effect from 28 October 2024 and to expire on 2 November 2024, both dates inclusive and fined RM3,000/–. She was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Apprentice M Ekdihar, the rider of GOLD SAMURAI, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to FLAMING PHOENIX, EMPHATIC, LEATHERHEAD, and SOMAR at approximately the 1000M.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Apprentice M Ekdihar’s mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race days with effect on 3 November 2024. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race days, he was also fined RM1,000/–. both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
