Mitavite Asia Sdn Bhd, known as the one stop horse shop that spreads its business throughout the Middle East and South East Asia will be sponsoring a race at the Selangor Turf Club on Sunday, 6th of October 2024.

The Mitavite Asia 26th Anniversary Cup will be staged in-conjunction with Mitavite Asia’s 26th Anniversary celebration this year. The company has been successfully providing a broad range of quality products and services for the growth and development of the equine industry for the past 25 years. 

The Mitavite Asia 26th Anniversary Cup offers prize money of RM35,000 and the race is open to horses in Class 4A with a ratings band from 44 to 61 and will be run over 1020m in Race 5 of the afternoon. A field of ten runners will face the starter and the two leading contenders appear to be from the S DUNDERDALE stable with both LIMITLESS ROAR and SURFIE BOY headlining the event. Limitless Roar was an impressive local debut winner when he came home to win by 23/4  lengths in a rather comfortable fashion. He stays over the same track and trip and despite meeting a tougher field here, he should be good enough to make it back to back wins.

Stable companion, Surfie Boy, relocated from Singapore and made his local debut three weeks ago when finishing runner up behind the talented Popeyethesailorman. He was only beaten by half a length on that occasion but he did have the assistance of a 3kg apprentice claim. This time there will be no claim as R SHAFIQ takes the ride whereas Limitless Roar will have the services of the in form I FIKRI who will claim 2kgs to boost his chances and is therefore a narrow first choice ahead of Surfie Boy. The race is due at 14:45 local time and falls part of a ten race program at the Selangor Turf Club.
