A track inspection was conducted prior to the commencement of the race meeting. A decision was made to switch Races 1 to 4 from Track II to the main track, alter the distances (as stated below) and reschedule all races to start 30 minutes later than the carded time.

Race 1 – from 1150M (Track II) to 1200M (SC)

Races 2 to 4 – from 1020M (Track II) to 1100M (SC)

RACE 1 (R00765) CLASS 5A – 1150M (Track II) to 1200M (SC)

This race was rescheduled to start at 1:45pm.

This race was rescheduled to start at 2:15pm.

9	FIRST BOWL (S Uzair)	Had to ease at the 1000M. Switched out to continue its run at the 400M.
10	ALL WHITE (SU Lim)	Returned cast off fore plate.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey AK Lim, the rider of TERMS OF REFERENCE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding TERMS OF REFERENCE, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to FIRST BOWL at the 1000M.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey AK Lim’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day with effect from 12 August 2024 and to expire on 17 August 2024, both dates inclusive. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race day, he was also fined RM1,500/–. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

This race was rescheduled to start at 5:20pm.
