RACE 1 (R1545) CLASS 5 (A) – 1600M (LONG COURSE A)
Due to a clerical error, the Stewards permitted the removal of blinkers from COMMODORE LINCOLN (O Chavez). At the start, the tongue-tie on COMMODORE LINCOLN had to be refitted when it was ascertained to be loose.
ENCOSTA ZONE (Z Khairil) dwelt at the start, losing considerable ground in the early stages.
LIM’S BULLET (App A Zaimuddin) was slow into stride.
GOLD MOSA (App CK Khaw) was forced to race wide.
YES BOSSY (App J Daniel) became unbalanced near the 1050M and when racing fiercely, had to be continually restrained off the heels of SAYANG ME (AK Lim) between the 1000M and the 800M.
A post-race veterinary examination of YES BOSSY revealed no significant finding.
The Stewards inquired into App A Zaimuddin’s (LIM’S BULLET) ride in the straight. He stated that he had dropped his right rein when attempting to keep the gelding out and when gathering the rein, got his whip stuck under the breast-plate and entangled in the mane, placing him in considerable difficulty for approximately 100M. In assessing this incident, the Stewards referred App A Zaimuddin for specific training and he will not be permitted to accept rides until such training is fulfilled.

RACE 2 (R1546) CLASS 4 (A) – 1600M (LONG COURSE A)
BAADSHAH (O Chavez) veered outwards at the start, inconveniencing PREMIUM RUSH (App S Uzair).
On jumping, MR PAULANDRE (App AR Aiman) and MASTER JIANGMEN (SU Lim) bumped.
In the early stages, SORBETA (App L De Souza) raced fiercely and was buffeted when shifted in near the 1000M, making contact with FIRST PASSTHEPOST (App CK Khaw). The saddle on SORBETA slipped backwards at this stage, placing App L De Souza some difficulties.
Jockey C Goon (SONNY BILL) was questioned as to the reason he travelled wide on SONNY BILL throughout. He advised that SONNY BILL had over-raced and he had been unable to shift in until he had cleared THE JEWELLER (HS Gill) on his inside near the 700M.
App S Uzair (PREMIUM RUSH) was warned that he should desist the use of his whip forward of the saddle. He will be referred for training.

RACE 3 (R1547) OPEN MAIDEN – 1400M (LONG COURSE A)
INVICTUS WARRIOR (HS Gill) which attempted to get down in the stalls, was removed, examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race.
At the request of Jockey J Low, OSCAR ECLIPSE was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon who found it to be lame near fore. OSCAR ECLIPSE was withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 1:30pm and will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.
These incidences necessitate a delay of several minutes to the start.
SIEW YUK (S Anandan) was buffeted on jumping, losing ground.
LAW BY LAW (App R Nuqman) jumped outwards at the start with its head in the air, bumping heavily with GOLDEN STATES (App S Rosmizan).
AMAZING ECLIPSE (O Chavez) and LIGHTNING HERO (KC Wong) were obliged to race wide in the middle stages.
SIEW YUK was inclined to lay inwards over the final 250M. Jockey S Anandan had to extricate the rein loop when it went over his head near the 100M. In assessing this, the Stewards advised Jockey S Anandan that this amounted to careless riding, however, reminded him of his obligation to ensure that he rode with safe equipment and properly prepared at all times.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that KING’S ORDER returned having cast its near hind plate.

RACE 4 (R1548) METRO A (SW) – 1600M (LONG COURSE A)
This race was rescheduled to start at 2:10pm.
HUSSONATOR (App L De Souza) was reluctant to race in the early stages and was taken wide on straightening. App L De Souza was advised to moderate the use of his whip.
A post-race veterinary examination of L’APPRENTI SORCIER (Z Khairil) revealed that the gelding bled and will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3), and thereafter will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey KC Wong, the rider of NOT USUAL PRINCE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that passing the 350M, he shifted inwards to obtain clear running and caused EL TORDILLO (App A Zaimuddin) to be checked.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey KC Wong’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of three (3) Malaysian race days with effect from 9 December 2019 and to expire on 22 December 2019, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (6:33pm).

RACE 5 (R1549) MAX TWO STAKES (WFA) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A)
GIGANTE DEL ANDRE (Z Khairil) veered outwards on jumping, losing ground.
SAKURA JAPAN (AK Lim) was slow into stride.
BEAUTIFUL ONE (Y Aify) shied outwards quickly at the 100M, dislodging Jockey Y Aify. Jockey Y Aify was examined by the Club Doctor who stood him down from his riding engagements for the remainder of the races today. Jockey Y Aify was subsequently taken to hospital for further observation. Trainer L Moy was advised that BEAUTIFUL ONE will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again for its poor racing manner.
From its wide draw, NUMBER ONE SON (S Muniandy) raced wide throughout. Jockey S Muniandy was questioned as to why he had raced ridden NUMBER ONE SON wide for the entire race. He advised that from the outside start position, NUMBER ONE SON had begun only fairly and had then begun to race fiercely. He was unable to secure a closer position and was carried wide by SENA FORTYTHREE (App A Zaimuddin) between the 900M and the 700M.
A post-race veterinary examination of TOM YAM revealed that the mare returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.
RACE 6 (R1550) CLASS 4 (B) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A)
WINTERFELL (App CK Khaw) was slow into stride.
At the 950M, VOYAGER (SU Lim) steadied when TAUBOSS (S Muniandy) rolled in.
Running to the turn at the 800M, D’GREAT EMINENCE (J Low) raced fiercely with its head in the air.
Near the 200M, PURE JUSTICE (App WW Cheah) shifted out, causing HAPPY BUFFALO (C Goon) to be steadied. App WW Cheah was reminded of his obligation to straighten his mounts when shifting ground in future.
When questioned, Jockey C Goon (HAPPY BUFFALO) advised that he had ridden HAPPY BUFFALO patiently as the gelding had been inclined to hang outwards in its previous start and he had attempted to secure cover. Further, HAPPY BUFFALO had again hung outwards and he had found himself further back than anticipated. When attempting a run in the straight, HAPPY BUFFALO baulked and was reluctant to proceed.

RACE 7 (R1551) METRO A – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A)
SUPERSTARDOM (App A Suriya) and DESIRE SKY (App WW Cheah) were slow into stride.
The Stewards addressed the issue of App A Suriya’s erratic whip use on SUPERSTARDOM. After considering the matter, App A Suriya will be referred to specific training and will not be permitted to accept rides until such training is fulfilled.

RACE 8 (R1552) CLASS 4 (A) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A)
MISE EN GARDE (Z Khairil) was examined at the start upon the request of the rider and was passed fit to race.
CHIPS (AK Lim) was slow to begin.
In the early stages, HARVEYWALLBANGER (App CK Khaw) raced fiercely with its head in the air and had to be continuously restrained until the 1000M.
AWATERE (App L De Souza) raced wide throughout.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that SENA SEVENTEEN (App A Zaimuddin) returned with a cut on the off hind leg. The mare will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

RACE 9 (R1553) METRO A – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A)
This race was rescheduled to start at 5:15pm.
When being weighed in, App A Suriya (FAALTLESS – placed 7th), was 1.1kgs less than the weight that he had weighed out. Under the provisions of MRA Rule 121(2), FAALTLESS was disqualified from the race. On inquiry, the Stewards are unable to ascertain the discrepancies. Acting under MRA Rule 121(2), App A Suriya, in the presence of his Employing Trainer, C Leck, was fined RM2000/- for weighing in at 1.1kgs underweight. Further the Official Valet was directed to ensure that all lead bags are examined by the Stewards before further use.
BEST TOTHELIGN (App CK Khaw) had to be steadied when crossed by AFFLECK (S Salee).
Approaching the 850M, WAR DRAGON (KC Wong) which was racing fiercely, veered outwards, inconveniencing SHOWBOY (J De Souza) and BEST TOTHELIGN. WAR DRAGON then raced wide until straightening.
WAR DRAGON raced erratically in the straight, carrying HATTA (O Chavez) inwards at the 250M.
AUD DOLLAR (S Anandan) and HATTA bumped near the 225M.

KITA TEAMWORK (App S Zulfikri) fly-jumped at the start.
READY TO ROLL (HK Cheng) and CASH IS KING (S Muniandy) were slow into stride.
TWENTYSIXTWELVE (App A Zaimuddin) raced wide from the 1000M.
UNSHADOWED GENERAL (SU Lim) was taken outwards passing the 300M to obtain a clear passage.
The tiring WOW (KC Wong) hung inwards near the 125M, causing LISTEN (C Goon) to be restrained.

RACE 11 (R1555) CLASS 5 (B) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A)
App A Zaimuddin (GHOST SPIRIT) fined RM250/- under MRA Rule 107(10) for failing to make the carded weight. The Stewards permitted App L De Souza to be the rider of GHOST SPIRIT.
WHAT (App S Uzair) jumped inwards at the start, bumping GOD’S FATE (App CK Khaw).
GHOST SPIRIT (App A Zaimuddin) veered outwards at the start.
READY TO STAR (KC Wong) raced wide in the middle stages.
When making ground quickly, ABEBE (S Anandan) had to be steadied outwards off the heels of ALIEN (App S Zulfikri). Jockey S Anandan reported that he dropped his right rein on straightening.

App S Rosmizan, the rider of MR DREYFUSS, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of MR DREYFUSS revealed that the gelding returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.
