RACE 1 (R1024) CLASS 5 (A) – 1600M (LONG COURSE)
KALA GHODA (J Shankar) veered outwards at the start, bumping D’GREAT WIN (J De Souza) which in turn struck the hindquarters of EASTER MATE (App A Zaimuddin), inconveniencing that gelding.
KALA GHODA raced erratically on straightening.
PARAGON STAR (SU Lim) brushed the running rail for some distance passing the 200M.

RACE 2 (R1025) CLASS 4 (A) – 1600M (LONG COURSE)
METAGROSS (KC Wong) dwelt at the start, losing considerable ground. METAGROSS will be required to pass 1 Starting Stall test before being declared to race again.
O’WHAT A FEELING (App S Uzair) was slow into stride.
BELLA VELOCE (App CK Khaw) jumped awkwardly.
The saddle on O’WHAT A FEELING slipped backwards after the start.
Running to the 1500M, GENERAL QIN (S Muniandy) shifted in, crowding SONG OF SPRING (App K Pavinthran) which in turn tightened SLEEPY JOE (J De Souza) and GASSUR (J Shankar). Jockey S Muniandy was reprimanded for crowding at this stage.
Running to 1050M, GENERAL QIN shifted out, carrying SONG OF SPRING outwards which in turn inconvenienced SLEEPY JOE with BELLA VELOCE being pushed wide.
Near the 1000M, HORSEH (H S Gill) raced fiercely.
O’WHAT A FEELING drifted wide in the straight.
STAR INVINCIBLE (J Low) was inclined to hang out over the concluding stages.
SONG OF SPRING returned having cast its near hind plate.
A post-race veterinary examination of TRINITY PIONEER (AK Lim) revealed that it returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

RACE 3 (R1026) OPEN MAIDEN – 1300M (LONG COURSE)
GLOBAL AMY (S Muniandy) jumped awkwardly.
CHAMPION KING (J Low) was slow into stride.
LIMIT UP (App CK Khaw) raced greenly in the early stages.
CHAMPION KING raced fiercely in the early stages.
Near the 1100M, NASSEB checked when tightened by LIMIT UP which had been tightened by METEOR LOUI (SU Lim). At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey SU Lim, the rider of METEOR LOUI, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that for shifting in at this stage.
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey SU Lim’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 14 December 2020 and to expire on 26 December 2020, both dates inclusive. . Acting on the provisions of MRA Rule 48(5), the Stewards deferred the commencement of his suspension. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
Jockey J Shankar eased NASSEB from the race and advised later that he feared that the gelding had sustained an injury when interfered with. A subsequent veterinary examination of NASSEB revealed no significant finding. Trainer AB Abdullah was advised that NASSEB will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.
Jockey S Muniandy was questioned regarding his riding of GLOBAL ARMY. He said that after beginning awkwardly, the horse hung inwards considerably and as such he had been unable to ride GLOBAL ARMY positively, being in a rearward position mid-race. On straightening, he had attempted to ride the horse strongly but again it hung in considerably and he had to change his whip to his non-preferred left hand. Trainer M Sukri advised that GLOBAL ARMY had a habit of being slow into stride and was also inclined to be wayward in running.
In considering this, the Stewards deemed that GLOBAL ARMY must pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again. A post-race veterinary examination of GLOBAL ARMY revealed no significant finding.
A post-race veterinary examination of TOM YAM (HS Gill) revealed that it returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.
RACE 4 (R1027) CLASS 5 (A) – 2000M (LONG COURSE)
FIRST SUCCESS (J Shankar) veered outwards at the start and then shifted in, crowding SUNNY (SU Lim) and VERGLATICA (App A Suriya). Jockey J Shankar was warned to exercise more care when shifting ground.
SUNNY raced wide in the middle stages. Jockey SU Lim was advised that he should be more diligent in attempting to secure a proper position within the field.
Near to the 250M, E SUPREME (R Rueven) was crowded when VERGLATICA drifted in near the 200M. App A Suriya was warned for not straightening his mount at this stage.
RACE 5 (R1028) CLASS 4 (A) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE)
The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of I AM THE BOSS at 3:04pm as App S Zulfikri failed to arrive on course and the connections were not satisfied with available riders. An inquiry into this App S Zulfikri’s failure to be present will be held at a date to be fixed.
GUILTY PLEASURES (App A Suriya) stumbled at the start.
PEARL DANCER ( App A Zaimuddin) was slow stride.
Near the 300M, App K Pavinthran (SMART INVESTMENT) dropped his whip. He was referred for specific training before being permitted to ride again.
Passing 250M, PEARL DANCER and D’ GREAT JOURNEY (App CK Khaw) bumped.
A post-race veterinary examination of D’GREAT VULTURE (SU Lim) revealed no significant finding.

RACE 6 (R1029) METRO A – 1200M (SHORT COURSE)
TRINITY GRACE (App R Nuqman) jumped awkwardly when the start was effected. Trainer SY Lim complaint to the Stewards that TRINITY GRACE was denied a proper start due to the request by the Apprentice that the gelding’s tail be held. After interviewing the Starter, the Stewards were of the opinion that TRINITY GRACE was not denied a proper start.
At the 250M, NOVA VOCAL (R Shafiq) shifted out, inconvenienced MR CROWE (S Ruzaini).
ELITE INVINCIBLE (App AR Raiyan) was slow into stride.

RACE 7 (R1030) CLASS 3 – 1200M (SHORT COURSE)
An objection was lodged by Jockey J Shankar (RADICAL FORCE), placed third, against CRAZY DREAMS (App S Sia), placed first, alleging interference in the final 100M causing RADICAL FORCE to steady from its heels. The Racing Stewards overruled the objection.
TIME TO HARVEST (HS Gill) and SOUTHERN MAN (S Ruzaini) were slow to begin.
CRAZY DREAMS drifted in near the 100M, causing RADICAL FORCE to steady from its heels. App S Sia was reprimanded for failing to straighten when his horse shifted.
A post-race veterinary examination of LIM’S CASINO (App R Nuqman) revealed that it was lame off fore and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.
CRAZY DREAMS returned having cast its near hind plate.

RACE 8 (R1031) CLASS 4 (B) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE)
An objection was lodged by Jockey KC Wong (GROUND ATTACK), placed third against LEO (AK Lim), placed second alleging interference at the 100M. The Racing Stewards allowed the objection and amended the placing to:
1st – WALKING THUNDER (App S Uzair)
2nd – GROUND ATTACK (KC Wong)
3rd – LEO (AK Lim)
4th – VETRI (S Ruzaini)
Over the final 100M, LEO veered outwards sharply for no reason and severely checked GROUND ATTACK. In light of this, Trainer S Dunderdale was advised that LEO will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

RACE 9 (R1032) CLASS 5 (A) – 1100M (SHORT COURSE)
Acting on veterinary advice that TILSWORTH MALI (SU Lim) had shifted its off fore plate and was lame off fore, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of the mare at 4:21pm. TILSWORTH MALI will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.
THEODORE (AK Lim) fly-jumped at the start and veered inwards.
BLACK MAMBA (R Rueven) was inclined to hang out at the 150M.
A post-race veterinary examination of EASY SOUTH WEST (App S Uzair) revealed that it returned with heat stress and as such will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

RACE 10 (R1033) CLASS 5 (B) – 1100M (SHORT COURSE)
WINNING TANGO (App A Zaimuddin) veered inwards at the start, causing SUPER WOMAN (J Low) to be restrained and lost ground.
MAGICAL TALENT (App CK Khaw) was slow into stride.
TRINITY FLYING (SU Lim) and NOVA PHOENIX (J Shankar) raced wide in the middle stages with NOVA PHOENIX taking the turn into the straight wide.
GOLDEN DRAGON (App S Sia) had to be taken outwards passing the 200M when blocked for a run on the inside to the tiring WINNING TANGO.
SMIDDY BYRNE returned with multiple lacerations of the off hind.

GENERAL REPORT(S) – SLTC
WITHDRAWAL OF APPEAL BY JOCKEY HS GILL AGAINST THE SUSPENSION OF ONE (1) MONTH FOR CONTRAVENTION OF MRA RULE 44(10) IMPOSED BY THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS IN CONNECTION WITH HIS RIDING OF RACEHORSE “WILLIAM KING” IN RACE 9 (R668) ON SUNDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER 2020 AT THE SELANGOR TURF CLUB SEPTEMBER MEETING 2020
Jockey HS Gill who lodged an appeal against his suspension of one (1) month for failing to ride to the satisfaction of the Stewards under MRA Rule 44(10), applied to withdraw his appeal on 5 December 2020.
After consideration, the Racing Stewards acceded to his application and his deposit will be refunded. His suspension will commence on 7 December 2020 and to expire on 6 January 2021, both dates inclusive, to be served concurrently with any other suspension.
APPEAL BY JOCKEY CALVIN GOON TUCK LEE (C GOON) AGAINST HIS SUSPENSION FOR CONTRAVENTION OF MRA RULE 136(3)(b) IMPOSED BY THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS IN CONNECTION WITH URINE SAMPLE CODED “J-4179” WHICH WAS TAKEN ON 18 OCTOBER 2020 AT THE SELANGOR TURF CLUB OCTOBER MEETING 2020, WAS FOUND TO CONTAIN MITRAGYNINE
The Selangor Turf Club (SLTC) Racing Stewards considered the above appeal on Sunday, 6 December 2020.
The SLTC Racing Stewards directed that:

The suspension from riding in races penalty be reduced by one (1) month to expire on midnight 24 December 2020.

He will be allowed to ride in trackwork / official barrier trial and practices forthwith, provided that he produced a clearing sample.

The deposit of RM2500/- be refunded.
