RACE 1 (R809) CLASS 4(A) – 1200m (lc) WELLNESS HANDICAP
Emergency acceptor DIAMOND RUSH was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
BRISTOL DIAMOND, PENDRAGON PRINCESS, PLACE YOUR BET, PALTROW and JULIUS CAESAR which were up 17kgs, 37kgs, 17kgs, 22kgs and 19kgs respectively in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
PURPLE RAIN (S Saddam) lugged outwards, hampering PALTROW (App S Hafis), TEOCHEW KID (AM Aizat) and RULE THE WORLD (HS Gill).
BRISTOL DIAMOND (S Muniandy) was obliged to race wide on the turn.
TEOCHEW KID was hanging out in the straight.
At approximately the 250M, MAESTRO (AK Lim) rolled outwards, making contact with RULE THE WORLD.
Jockey S Saddam, the rider of PURPLE RAIN reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of PURPLE RAIN revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockey CK Tan, the rider ALWAYS D’GREAT reported that his mount was coughing during the race. A post-race veterinary examination of ALWAYS D’GREAT revealed that the gelding returned with respiratory distress and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that PENDRAGON PRINCESS (R Rueven) returned with a cut to its left hind cannon.

RACE 2 (R810) CLASS 4(B) – 1200m (lc) MEDAN HANDICAP
Emergency acceptor YES BOSSY was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
TIME TO ROCK, EASY SOUTH EAST, STAGESHOW and ON THE RAZZ which were up 22kgs, 30kgs, 21kgs and 15kgs respectively in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
Approaching the 800M, ROSES FOR ME and FAST AND SUPER became crowded and had to check when TIME TO ROCK shifted. At a subsequent Inquiry, Jockey AM Aizat, the rider of TIME TO ROCK was found guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii).
In assessing the penalty, the Panel of Stewards took into consideration Jockey AM Aizat’s disciplinary record and mitigating factors. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) race days. Acting under the provisions of MRA Rule 48(5), the Panel of Stewards deferred Jockey AM Aizat’s suspension to commence on Monday, 1st November 2021 and to expire on Sunday, 7th November 2021, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his right of appeal (2.08pm).
ROSES FOR ME (HS Gill) and FAST AND SUPER (App S Hafis) bumped on several occasions in the straight.
Jockey CK Tan, the rider of CROWN STAR reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of CROWN STAR revealed no obvious abnormality.
A post-race veterinary examination of EASY SOUTH EAST (App P Haris) revealed that the gelding returned with heat stress and as such, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

RACE 3 (R811) OPEN MAIDEN – 1200m (lc) PORT VILA STAKES
[WEIGHT-FOR-AGE]
HAALAND, a course scratching when it was found to be suffering from a respiratory allergy, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
STORM WARNING, AUTUMN BLITZ, TAN’S MAESTRO and AMAZING DRAGON which were up 22kgs, 22kgs, 20kgs and 16kgs respectively in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
Acting on veterinary advice that SPEEDY SWALLOW (KC Wong) and YOU ARE SPECIAL (S Muniandy) were fractious in their barrier and were injured, the Panel of Stewards ordered their withdrawal at 2.18pm. SPEEDY SWALLOW and YOU ARE SPECIAL will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
LAST CHANCE (App I Firdza) was fractious and jumped away awkwardly.
LIM’S LEADER ( M Yusri) was slow to begin.
Jockey R Rueven, the rider of TAN’S MAESTRO reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of TAN’S MAESTRO revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockey AM Aizat, the rider of INVICTUS WARRIOR reported that his mount was making noises during the race. A post-race veterinary examination of INVICTUS WARRIOR revealed that the gelding had returned broken-winded and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 4 (R812) COSMO C (SW) -1200m (lc) TIN MINER’S STAKES
YOU ROKK which was down 15kgs in body weight and EMIRATES WARRIOR which was up 19kgs since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
Trainer KF Wong was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours on DISCRETELY RED (S Saddam).
Acting on veterinary advice that YOU ROKK (R Rueven) was unable to be saddled, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 2.42pm. Trainer PK Leong, the trainer of YOU ROKK was warned that a repetition may lead to an embargo being imposed on this horse.
STAR GENIUS (App I Firdzriel) which was extremely slow to begin, losing many lengths, will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.
STAR GENIUS entered the home straight wide.

RACE 5 (R813) CLASS 5(A) – 1100m(sc) CANNING HANDICAP
SUNTZU, a course scratching as it had sustained bruised off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
SING ROULETTE, GOLDEN ROOSTER and FRANKLY MY DEAR which were up 20kgs, 15kgs and 23kgs respectively in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
Light rain fell during the running of the race.
STAR CHOICE (WK Yan), SING EXPRESS (S Muniandy) and ELUSIVE GENIUS (App R Lingarajan) were slow into stride.
SOLID BRISK (App S Hafis) was inconvenienced from BUTCH CASSIDY (J Chuah) which jumped awkwardly.
Jockey HS Gill, the rider of GOLDEN ROOSTER reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of GOLDEN ROOSTER revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 6 (R814) CLASS 5(A) – 1100m (sc) DELTA HANDICAP
NATUREISSPEAKING, a course scratching as it had sustained a skin allergy, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
BALL AND CHAIN, THE JEWELLER, MY AIM and LUCKY ENOUGH which were up 24kgs, 17kgs, 15kgs and 18kgs respectively in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
This race was run in steady rain.
LUCKY GIANT (AK Lim), THE JEWELLER (AM Aizat), SUPREME JUSTICE (App I Firdzriel) and SONNY BILL (M Yusri) were slow into stride.
All riders returned an average of 1.5kg over.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that LUCKY ENOUGH (I Amirul) returned having bled and as such, the gelding will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
After the running of this race, the state of track was down-graded to ‘soft’.

Emergency acceptor POWER EXPRESS was withdrawn due to a capacity field.
MAMAMIA MAMAMIA, THAI BAHT and SNOW DANCER which was up 41kgs, 31kgs and 21kgs respectively and CLASSIC KING which was down 25kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
SNOW DANCER (CK Tan) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.
SNOW DANCER was slow into stride.
Jockey CK Tan, the rider of SNOW DANCER was warned against the practice of using his whip, when his mount is clearly out of contention.

RACE 8 (R816) CLASS 5(B) – 1100m (sc) FABER HANDICAP
MY FIRST MILLION which was up 29kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
Trainer S Deva Raj was fined RM100/- under MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the declared colours on IRON FIST (J Chuah).
Approaching the 800M, MY FIRST MILLION (HK Cheng) clipped the heels of TOOBIGTOFAIL (AK Lim).
SECOND CHANCE (App R Lingarajan) raced wide on the turn and into the home straight.
App R Lingarajan, the rider of SECOND CHANCE in the presence of his Employing Trainer K Coetzee was warned regarding the manner in which he rode SECOND CHANCE and he was also warned that in future, he must ride all his mounts in such a manner so as to leave no room for query.
