RACE 1 (R1443) CLASS 5(A) – 1200m(lc) – ENA RACING MIX HANDICAP
KING POWER jumped away awkwardly, raced ungenerously and throwing its head up, striking App P Mogun in his face. KING POWER was eased out as App P Mogun was unable to ride. App P Mogun was exempted from weighing-in and was examined by the Club Medical Officer who declared him fit to fulfill his engagements for the day.
GHOST SPIRIT (Y Aify) commenced to buck shortly after the start, as a result DICAPRIO (F Yap) had to be checked to avoid GHOST SPIRIT, which continued to buck until racing to the 1100M and dislodged Jockey Y Aify. He was exempted from weighing-in and was sent to hospital for observation. The Club Medical Officer subsequently stood down Jockey Y Aify for the remainder of his rides.
KING POWER and GHOST SPIRIT will each be required to pass one starting stall test before being declared to race again.
MEGUSTO (App CK Khaw) shifted in and out after jumping and as a result, CENTURY WORLD (S Sandana) had to be steadied to avoid its heels.
HERECOMESMYMONEY (App AM Aizat) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.
App AM Aizat, the rider of HERECOMESMYMONEY reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of HERECOMESMYMONEY revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockey S Sandana, the rider of CENTURY WORLD reported that his mount was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of CENTURY WORLD revealed that the mare returned broken-winded and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of ZAC GALLANT (J Low), DARK EXPRESS (S Salee) and KING POWER revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that GHOST SPIRIT returned having cast its near hind plate.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer PK Leong, the trainer of SUPER DRAGON into the improved performance of the gelding today. He stated that the instructions were the same as last week, which is to get a good jump and be handy. He felt that the going today suited SUPER DRAGON more and the apprentice’s claim resulted in its improved performance. The gelding’s conditions had improved since its last start. However, he was reminded of his obligations under the rules regarding ‘in-and-out’ running. His explanations were noted.

RACE 2 (R1444) CLASS 5(A) – 1200m(lc) – MITAVITE PERFORMER 3 HANDICAP
ENDURANCE, which was down 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
MONEY & ME (CK Tan) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of RAJA MAHESA (App CK Khaw), MILITARY STAR (App H Syafiq), MULTI WEALTH (S Salee) and ENDURANCE (App L De Souza) revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of SPEEDY AMIGA (F Yap) and MAGICAL TEN (J Chuah) revealed that both these mares returned with respiratory distress and as such, will each be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.

RACE 3 (R1445) RATINGS: 60 & ABOVE – 1400m(lc) [SET-WEIGHTS]
TAN SRI DAVID V JEYARATNAM CHARITY CUP
RASMEE, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near fore sole, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
HALO BRIGHT (App H Syafiq) was checked shortly after the start by STAR STRIKE (S Sandana) which was taken in by CROWN STAR (App CK Khaw) and thereafter, dipped.
Racing to the 800M, HALO BRIGHT had to check when racing tight inside GREAT SCOTT (App J Daniel) which was taken in slightly by TILSWORTH FREDDIE (App I Firdzriel) and when being checked, HALO BRIGHT lost its position and shifted out abruptly. As a consequence, SEA WORLD (J De Souza) was steadied and taken wider on the track. After viewing the films, the Panel of Stewards deemed it a racing incident and as such, no action was taken.
WHIRLWIND (R Rueven) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.
App AM Aizat, the rider of LEON reported that his mount could not handle the going today.
Post-race veterinary examinations of SEA WORLD, WHIRLWIND, HALO BRIGHT, STAR STRIKE and LEON (App AM Aizat) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 4 (R1446) M’SIA GROUP 1 – 1600m(lc) – CORONATION CUP
[3 YEAR OLDS & ABOVE] [SET-WEIGHTS]
Emergency acceptors STAR STRIKE, LEON and RASMEE were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
ORDER OF THE SUN (J Low) steadied shortly after the start when being brushed by DAVINCI (HS Gill).
ORDER OF THE SUN raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.
MR NEVERMIND (R Rueven) was disappointed for a run at the 200M when ACE KING (App AM Aizat) which commenced to weaken, rolled out and at the same time, STICK SEEKER (App W Faizal) rolled in.
NAZIR (M Yusri) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.
App AM Aizat, the rider of ACE KING reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of ACE KING revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MR NEVERMIND, STICK SEEKER and GOD HELPS ME (App L De Souza) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 5 (R1447) CLASS 4(A) – 1600m (lc) – MITAVITE CUP
NEVERTHELESS, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore cannon, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
The saddle on MOGAN’S PRIDE slipped to the off side, racing to the 600M and as a result, App AM Aizat lost the use of both irons, placing him at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race.
I HAVE A DREAM (App W Faizal) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.
App CK Khaw, the rider of DOUBLE RAINBOW reported that his mount could not handle the going today.
A post-race veterinary examination of KARIGARA (App L De Souza), which was impounded, revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that ALASAMO (Z Khairil) returned having cast its near fore plate.

RACE 6 (R1448) RESTRICTED MAIDEN – 1000m (sc) – MAGIC MILLIONS TROPHY [3 YEAR OLDS ONLY] [WEIGHT-FOR-AGE]
KANTE, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near fore heel, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MASTRO GEPPETTO which was up 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
POWERFUL STAR which shifted its near hind plate whilst parading and had to be re-shod. POWERFUL STAR dislodged App L De Souza whilst enroute to the start, bolted and struck the running rail and was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 4.31pm. The gelding which sustained an injury to its left shoulder, will be required to pass one starting stall test to be ridden unaided to the start and a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
ARTEMISTER (App I Firdzriel) and CONSENSE (App KC Wong) were slow to begin.
FANTASTIC ECLIPSE (J De Souza) jumped away awkwardly and shifted in, resulting in SMART EAGLE (App P Mogun) being taken in and bumped OSCAR ECLIPSE (App CK Khaw) onto MASTRO GEPPETTO (S Anandan).
TAN TAN (R Rueven) shifted out at the concluding stages and as a result, FANTASTIC ECLIPSE which was laying in, had to be steadied. Jockey R Rueven, the rider of TAN TAN was shown the vision of the incident and advised to exercise greater care under similar circumstances in future.
A post-race veterinary examination of SMART EAGLE revealed no obvious abnormality.

SUSTAINA STAKES
DUKE OF NORMANDY, LITTLEBITOFJOY, WINDCHASER and BIG LIGHTNING, all course scratching as they had sustained an abscess off fore foot, bruised near fore fetlock, bruised both hocks and bruised off fore sole respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
MARY KING (HS Gill) was slow to begin.
SUNNY (J De Souza) raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.
LOUEY VELOCE (App P Mogun) had to be steadied passing the 200M when ALWAYS D’GREAT (App CK Khaw) rolled out.
MARY KING which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.
App AM Aizat and Jockey HS Gill, the riders of EATONS GOLD and MARY KING respectively, both reported that their mounts could not handle the going today.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that FLYING DARCI (R Rueven) had bled and the gelding will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of TURQUOISE KING (S Salee), EATONS GOLD (App AM Aizat) and BRAHMS AND LISZT (App L De Souza) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 8 (R1450) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m (sc) – DECRON QUIKGRO HANDICAP
LIKE A JET (J Mallyon) and SIR RALLY (Z Khairil) were examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and were passed fit to start.
EMPIRE BAY (S Sandana) checked at the start when TIC TAC TOE (HS Gill) jumped awkwardly and shifted in.
KING WIN (App P Mogun) which hung out badly from the 800M and raced wide for the remainder of the race, will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.
EMPIRE BAY was held up for a run at the 200M when SUCCESSION (S Anandan) rolled in and as a result, EMPIRE BAY shifted out and racing to the 100M, EMPIRE BAY had to be steadied when AIR POWER (App CK Khaw) shifted out.
Post-race veterinary examinations of D’GREAT SUPREME (App KC Wong), ONE O NINE (App L De Souza), SECRET SPICE (App AM Aizat), SIR RALLY and DUE HOME (J Low) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 9 (R1451) CLASS 4 (A) – 1400m (sc) – MITAVITE XLR8 HANDICAP
DISCRETELY RED, a course scratching as it was inappetance, will be required to pass a veterinary examination after a 21-day embargo and OPTIMUS, also a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
BRAVE MALALA (App P Mogun) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.
LION CONQUEROR (HS Gill) which was difficult to be boxed, was withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at 6.15pm. Due to its adverse history, the gelding will be required to pass two (2) starting stall tests at weekly interval before being declared to race again.
ASPEN (App KC Wong) was slow to begin.
Post-race veterinary examinations of FLYING WINNER (Z Khairil) and NOBODY’S FOOL (App J Daniel) revealed no obvious abnormality and BRAVE MALALA revealed that the mare had returned lame off fore. As such, BRAVE MALALA will be required to pass a test (1000M & vet exam) before being declared to race again.

GENERAL REPORT – PRTC
HEARING ON AN APPLICATION FOR A STAY OF SENTENCE AGAINST THE TWO (2) RACE DATS SUSPENSION IMPOSED ON APP CK KHAW (EVIL TRAIN) IN RACE 6 (R1414), CLASS 5(A) – 1600m(lc) – WINNING TOUCH 1992 HANDICAP, PERAK NOVEMBER (CORONATION CUP) MEETING 2018.
The Panel of Stewards on Saturday, 17th November 2018 heard an application for a stay of sentence from App CK Khaw, the rider of EVIL TRAIN in the presence of his master Trainer R Lines.
After hearing submissions from App CK Khaw and his master, Trainer R Lines, the Panel of Stewards decided not to grant him a stay of sentence. His suspension will commence on Monday, 19th November 2018 and to expire on Saturday, 8th December 2018, both dates inclusive.
On Sunday, 18th November 2018, App CK Khaw made an application to withdraw his appeal to the PRTC Appeal Panel.
