RACE 1 (R032) CLASS 5(A) – 1400m(lc)
MOON BABY (KC Wong) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.
ONE MORE ACHIEVER (App S Saddam) jumped away awkwardly.
EMPIRE BAY (HK Cheng) jumped away awkwardly and was bumped by CALM AND TRANQUIL (App L De Souza) on the outside and shortly thereafter, was bumped by GOOD TASTE (M Yusri) on its inside.
GOOD TASTE had a tendency to over-race passing the 1000M.
MOON BABY raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.
CALM AND TRANQUIL laid out over the concluding stages and finished wider on the track.
Jockey J Chuah, the rider of RAMIFICATIONS reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of RAMIFICATIONS revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 2 (R033) CLASS 4(B) – 1400m(lc)
SHANGHAI NIGHTS and PARAGON STAR, both course scratching as they had sustained multiple lacerations and a bruised left knee respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
The Club Medical Officer certified that Jockey Z Khairil is fit to fulfil his engagements today.
JACKS SECRET (R Rueven) jumped away awkwardly, was slow to begin and showed no early pace, despite being urged.
Jockeys WK Yan and R Rueven, the rider of STAR CHOICE and JACKS SECRET both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of STAR CHOICE and JACKS SECRET revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MR DAVID (Z Khairil) and INTROIT (SU Lim) revealed no obvious abnormality.

The Panel of Stewards confirmed that Jockey J Daniel was entitled to claim 2kgs which was not shown on this race card.
CONGRATU (App I Firdzriel) was slow to begin.
LITTLEBITOFJOY (App S Hafis) raced wide from the 700M until entering the straight.
ORDOS LEGEND (HS Gill) over-raced in the middle stages of the race.
Jockey WK Yan, the rider of 2nd place-getter CREATE ABUNDANCE dropped his whip at 350M and was fined RM1,000/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a).
DRAGON HIGH (App P Mogun), the winner dropped his whip at the 250M and was warned that a repetition may lead to a penalty being imposed in future.
Post-race veterinary examinations of CONGRATU revealed no obvious abnormality and D’GREAT VULTURE (J De Souza) returned with heat stress. As such, D’GREAT VULTURE will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

RACE 4 (R035) CLASS 5 (A) – 1600m(lc)
MORALES (App S Saddam) was slow to begin and showed no early pace despite being urged.
FORTUNE SPIRIT (App I Firdzriel) raced greenly passing the 300M and shifted in and when attempting to straighten the gelding, App I Firdzriel accidentally dropped his whip. App I Firdzriel, in the presence of his Employing Trainer, Trainer S Cook was advised that a repetition may lead to a penalty being imposed in future.
Post-race veterinary examinations of E SUPREME (App P Mogun) and MORALES revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer K Coetzee, the trainer of MORALES into the poor performance of MORALES today. Trainer K Coetzee could offer no tangible explanation and he was advised to report back to the Stewards should he find anything amiss with the gelding during the week. MORALES which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

WINNING STAR which was up 20kgs and MR CONNERY which was down 23kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
As Jockey J Daniel was medically stood down by the Club Medical Officer, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey C Goon to replace him on WAR LORD.
ROCKET FIGHTER (S Salee) was slow to begin.
FLYING SHADOW (SU Lim) was checked on jumping away when SPEEDY AMIGA (Z Khairil) jumped awkwardly outwards and POWERFUL STAR (HS Gill) jumped awkwardly inwards.
Post-race veterinary examinations of SPEEDY AMIGA and WINNING STAR (CK Tan) revealed no obvious abnormality.

LUCK SUCCESS which was down 17kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
KING FORCE (CK Tan) and BALL AND CHAIN (App S Saddam) were examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and were passed fit to start.
MR EPIC (App CK Khaw) was slow to begin.
PERFECT RUN (App WW Cheah) shifted in off the heels of SAND BANK (App L De Souza) for clear running at the 300M.
Post-race veterinary examinations of BEIJING STAR (HS Gill), MR EPIC and RED RACKHAM (S Salee) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 7 (R038) CLASS 4 (A) – 1000m (sc)
TRIPLE ONE D’GREAT which was up 18kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
Acting on a report that XENA (HS Gill) was not presented for pre-race sample collection before the designated sample collection cut-off time, the Panel of Stewards ordered the withdrawal of the filly at 4.25pm under MRA Rule 134(2)(a)(i). Trainer S Edwards was fined RM1,000/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) as read with MRA Rule 134(2)(a)(i).
ASPREY (App S Saddam) clipped the heels of TRIPLE ONE D’GREAT (App L De Souza) at the 700M and lost ground, resulting in JULIUS CAESAR (App S Hafis) which was following, having to take evasive action. D’GREAT OCEAN (J De Souza) and VOYAGER (App CK Khaw) were hampered as a consequence.
BRINGER OF WAR (Z Khairil) hang out over the concluding stages and finished wider on the track.
Post-race veterinary examinations of TRIPLE ONE D’GREAT revealed no obvious abnormality.
