RACE 1 (R1196 ) CLASS 5(A) – 1200m (lc) GOLDEN ACE HANDICAP
JULIUS CAESAR (App SN Shiva) jumped awkwardly.
TILSWORTH MALI (S Ruzaini) was obliged to race wide on the turn and entered the home straight wide.
GOLDEN CUP (App AB Riduan) was hanging out in the straight, finishing the race wide.
App AB Riduan, the rider of GOLDEN CUP reported that his saddle slipped back during the running.
TIGRESS (WH Kok) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Jockey HS Gill was questioned with regards to the disappointing performance of YES BOSSY today. He stated that having gone to the lead, YES BOSSY tired and compounded in the straight. He is of the opinion that the gelding did not saddled up from last week’s run. A post-race veterinary examination of YES BOSSY revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of TIGRESS revealed no obvious abnormality, whilst BELLA VELOCE (AM Aizat) returned lame off fore. As such, BELLA VELOCE will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 2 (R1197) CLASS 4 (A) – 1400m (lc) 2023 PORDASI GOODWILL CUP
Emergency Acceptors DISCRETELY RED, GOLDEN PEACH and MAGIC KID were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
STYLE OF DRAGON which was up 17kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start.
FIRE AWAY (R Ruwaidy) and VILLAGE STAR (KC Tham) were both examined behind the barriers by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and were passed fit to start.
NOVA FALCON (App H Haikal) was slow into stride.
At approximately the 800M-mark, Jockey J Low felt something amiss with GALAXY LAW which duck outwards sharply and at approximately the 700M-mark, still feeling something amiss, Jockey J Low eased his mount up and dismounted. A post-race veterinary examination of GALAXY LAW revealed that the gelding had bled and as such, will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again. Jockey J Low was exempted from weighing-in and he was subsequently examined by the Club Medical Officer and was certified fit to continue riding for the remainder of the day.
THE BOSS (App SN Shiva) trialed the field and a post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had bled. As such, THE BOSS will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MASTER RYKER (App Clyde Leck) revealed that the gelding had returned lame near fore whilst STYLE OF DRAGON (KP Lim) revealed no obvious abnormality. MASTER RYKER will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 3 (R1198) CLASS 5 (A) – 1600m (lc) TRUSON HANDICAP
SIEW YUK, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore sole, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
Acting on veterinary advice that DAVINCI (HS Gill) was lame near fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1.42pm. The gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
WHY NOT (SU Lim) duck outwards and became unbalanced momentarily at approximately the 800M-mark.
As App AB Riduan had ridden his 40th winner on NORTHERN STAR, he will be entitled to claim 2kgs effective from Monday, 6th November 2023.

RACE 4 (R1190) ENRICH STAKES A – 1400m (lc) MITAVITE ASIA 25TH ANNIVERSARY CUP
TOP KNIGHT (WH Kok) was slow into stride.
RELAU STAR (SU Lim) which was difficult to be boxed, delaying the start, will be required to pass one (1) starting stall test before being declared to race again.
ANSU (J Daniel) was pulling hard in the early and middle stages.
TOP KNIGHT (WH Kok) was obliged to race wide rounding the turn, entering the home straight wide.
As STRONG N BEST (J De Souza) could not be scoped, a post-race veterinary examination of the gelding will follow.
Trainer KF Wong was questioned with regards to the improved performance of RELAU STAR today. The only explanation he could offer is that this horse had a light weight and was suited by the soft going today. His explanations were noted and his attention was drawn to MRA Rule 117(3) regarding ‘in-and-out’ running.

RACE 5 (R1200) CLASS 5 (A) – 1600m (lc) 2022 ELITE REMARKABLE HANDICAP
Passing the 200M-mark, LEEDSTHEWAY (KC Tham) which was hanging in, shifted in slightly, inconveniencing TRINITY HONOR (SU Lim). Shortly thereafter, DREAMS CAN BE REAL (HS Gill) rolled inwards, crowding TRINITY HONOR.
SING DARCI (J Daniel) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of MY GOODNESS (App Clyde Leck) revealed that the gelding had returned broken-winded, HELLO MONDAY (App R Nuqman) revealed no obvious abnormality and returned having cast its near fore plate. MY GOODNESS will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 6 (R1201) GROUP 1 –1600m (lc) CORONATION CUP
Emergency Acceptors DANCING RAIN, ANSU and TOP KNIGHT were withdrawn due to a capacity field.
Light rain fell prior to and during the running of this race.
GOLDEN PAYOUT (A Suriya) shifted out from the whip in the later stages, finishing the race wide. Jockey A Suriya was warned that under similar circumstances in future, he must keep his whip on his right hand.
Post-race veterinary examinations of XENA (App AB Riduan), CHINA CAPTAIN (S Ruzaini) and TEOCHEW KID (L De Souza) revealed no obvious abnormality. XENA returned having cast its near fore plate.

RACE 7 (R1202) CLASS 5(A) – 1200m (sc) 2007 FREE SPIRIT HANDICAP
MY AIM and BEIHAI TURBO, both course scratching as they had sustained a bruised near fore fetlock and a bruised off hind fetlock respectively, will each be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
As Jockey MM Firdaus was not on course to fulfil his engagement, as there was no suitable jockey available, the Panel of Stewards permitted App R Nuqman to replace him as the rider of GOLDEN SHOW. The matter will be investigated at a date to be fixed.
Jockey HS Gill was stood down by the Club Medical Officer for the remainder of the day. As there was no suitable rider available, the Panel of Stewards ordered the withdrawal of COLOUR PAINT at 3.45pm.
STARDICE (S Ruzaini) over-raced in the early stages.
A post-race veterinary examination of LIM’S HOPEFULLY (HK Cheng) revealed no obvious abnormality.
An inquiry into the running and handling of LIM’S HOPEFULLY will be held at a date to be fixed.

THE CROWN JEWEL which was down 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start.
LUCKY STAR (HK Cheng) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Jockey J De Souza, the rider of THE CROWN JEWEL reported that his mount did not handle the going today.
A post-race veterinary examination of NAGAS KING (KP Lim) revealed that the gelding had returned lame off fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
After the running of Race 8, the state of track was upgraded to ‘Yielding’.

UNLEASH THE DRAGON (J De Souza) and ULURU (App SN Shiva) were both examined behind the barriers by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and were passed fit to start.
POWER EXPRESS (J Daniel) which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of POWER EXPRESS and QUEEN FORCE (WH Kok) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 10 (R1205) CLASS 5(A) – 1000m (sc) 1985 BIG CHIEF HANDICAP
As there was no suitable apprentice available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey A Suriya to replace App M Ekdihar as the rider of CHAR KWAY TEOW.
CHAR KWAY TEOW and MENTAL which were up 25kgs and 18kgs respectively, in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and were passed fit to start.
Acting on veterinary advice that LAGI BOLEH (App R Nuqman) had sustained a swollen left neck (haematoma) due to pre-race blood collection, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 4.06pm. The colt will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
As there were no suitable riders available, the Panel of Stewards ordered the withdrawal of VICTOREM at 4.19pm and THAI BAHT at 5.09pm.
Jockeys KP Lim and AK Lim, the riders of BLOOD ROYAL and GENERATION M both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of BLOOD ROYAL and GENERATION M revealed no obvious abnormality.
A post-race veterinary examination of FANTASTIC ECLIPSE (J Daniel) revealed the horse had returned cut off hind and as such, the gelding will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that BOSSKU (J Low) returned having cast its off fore plate.

COUNTRY LAW, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore pastern, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
YOU ARE GENIUS which was up 19kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to start.
As there was no suitable apprentice available, the Panel of Stewards permitted Jockey J Daniel to replace App Z Syafifie, as the rider of YOU ARE GENIUS.
As there was no suitable rider available, the Panel of Stewards ordered the withdrawal of KOPI BING at 5.43pm.
Acting on veterinary advice that SUPREME HAPPINESS (KC Tham) was lame off fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 5.58pm. The gelding will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
JAPAN CAPTAIN (App P Haris) jumped awkwardly.
D’GREAT RISE (L De Souza) was hanging in at the later stages.
Jockey AK Lim, the rider of PURE PERFECTION reported that his mount had a tendency to lay out throughout.
Jockey AM Aizat, the rider of CASTLE OCEAN reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of CASTLE OCEAN revealed that the gelding had returned broken-winded and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
