RACE 1 (R208) CLASS 5 – 1000m(sc) – TENNO SHO HANDICAP
LA QUINTA which was up 37kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
SUPER BONUS (Lou Ho) was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon behind the barriers and was passed fit to race.
EXPLOSIVE FORCE (App S Saddam) and SUPER BONUS were both slow to begin.
D’GREAT VICTORY (App AK Lim) and AGUERO (App R Narendran) bumped on jumping away.
Racing to the 800M, HUSSAR (App A Zaimuddin) which was racing tight on the inside of D’GREAT VICTORY, became unbalanced for a few strides and clipped the heels of
D’GREAT VICTORY.
From the 800M until entering the straight, SUPER BONUS, HIGHLAND FALCON (TM Wan) and EAGLE SOAR (App T Krisna) raced wide.
At about the 300M, JOE SWIPER (SS Vanan) had to steady to avoid the heels of EAGLE SOAR which shifted outwards, resulting in AGUERO which was following, had to steady and shift in for a run.
Racing to the 250M, EAGLE SOAR was disappointed for a run between SUPER BONUS and EXPLOSIVE FORCE (App S Saddam) and had to shift in to obtain a clear run.

From inside the 100M, MASTER OF SUCCESS (J De Souza) commenced to lay out and then over the final stages of the race, bumped HENNESSY DRAGON (S Sandana) and took it wider on the track. Jockey J De Souza, the rider of MASTER OF SUCCESS was shown the vision of the race and warned to exercise more care.
App S Saddam, the rider of EXPLOSIVE FORCE reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of EXPLOSIVE FORCE revealed no obvious abnormality.
A post-race veterinary examination of JULY JUHO (C Goon) revealed that the gelding had returned with respiratory distress and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/Vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of JOE SWIPER and SUPER BONUS revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 2 (R209) CLASS 5 –1000m(sc) – TAKARAZUKA KINEN HANDICAP
RUMPELSTILTSKIN which was up 27kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
THONG’S JIAQING (J Chuah) jumped away awkwardly and brushed the outside of the barrier and was slow into stride.
GREEN TRACER (HK Cheng) dipped on jumping away.
LEE’S MELODY (S Thai Yang) jumped away awkwardly.
Racing to the 800M, EASY AHEAD (App KC Wong) had to be steadied and shifted outwards when ZAC GALLANT (J Low) rolled out.
GREEN TRACER over-raced in the early and middle stages of the race and then continued to race ungenerously until entering the straight.
App CT Lee, the rider of MONEY NOT ENOUGH was fined RM500/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he dropped his whip passing the 300M.

Approaching the winning post, MONEY NOT ENOUGH shied away from the shadow of the winning post, unbalancing App CT Lee momentarily.
A post-race veterinary examination of GREEN TRACER revealed that the gelding had returned broken-winded and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of EASY AHEAD, ZAC GALLANT and HAPPY AMIGO (J De Souza) revealed no obvious abnormality.
The Stewards questioned Trainer Bonny Ng, the trainer of GREEN TRACER and he stated that today’s instruction was to hold the gelding up, so that it would finish the race off, as it had not been doing so when it had led. The Stewards noted his explanations and will question Jockey HK Cheng who had left the course, at a date to be fixed.

COSTNER (App KC Wong) jumped away awkwardly.
Racing to the 250M, POT BLACK (J Chuah) had to be steadied when DYNAMIC TRIO (CK Tan) rolled out.
Racing to the 100M, I’M KOOL (TM Wan) laid in and as a consequence, the rider had to stop and straighten the gelding.
Post-race veterinary examinations of BLACK AHEAD (C Goon) and DRAGON WALK (J Low) revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 4 (R211) CLASS 4 – 1100m(str) YASUDA KINEN HANDICAP
At about the 100M, PERFECT RUN (App T Krisna) which was racing greenly, shifted inwards for a run.
Passing the 100M, BEYOND WEALTH (App KC Wong) collapsed and died on the track. A post-mortem will be conducted. App KC Wong was exempted from weighing-in and was stood down by the Club Medical Officer for the remainder of the day.
Jockey TM Wan, L Sofhan and App S Rosmizan, the riders of TILSWORTH FREDDIE, BERCHAM and TAWQEET respectively, reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of TILSWORTH FREDDIE, BERCHAM and TAWQEET revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 5 (R212) CLASS 4 –1100m (str) – CHAMPIONS HANDICAP
YOU ARE GENIUS which was up 15kgs and ALFRAAJ which was down 15kgs in body weight since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.
AMAZING (SS Vanan) reared when the start was affected and lost ground. Trainer Evert Van Breukelen, representing Trainer PS Kumaran was informed that a warning was placed on the gelding to improve its barrier manners, failing which action may be taken. A post-race veterinary examination of AMAZING revealed no obvious abnormality.
DROUGHT(App S Rosmizan) was disappointed for a run from the 500M until the 100M when shifting to the outside of WAR LORD (App M Sathiaa) and FATKID WONDERER (J Low) to obtain clear running.
App AM Aizat, the rider of SAND LANE and App AK Lim, the rider of JOYFUL both reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary examinations of SAND LANE and JOYFUL revealed no obvious abnormality.
App S Uzair, the rider of BIRRALEE ROAD reported that his mount was making respiratory noises in the race. A post-race veterinary examination of BIRRALEE ROAD revealed no obvious abnormality.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that YOU ARE GENIUS (App T Krisna) had bled and as such, will be barred from racing for a period of 3 months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)(b) & (c) and thereafter, will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon also reported that PISCES JET (J De Souza) returned having cast its off fore plate.

DROGBA, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised near fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
TEN SENSE WIN (J Chuah) jumped away awkwardly.
ALL SERENE (S Thai Yang) jumped awkwardly outwards and checked TRUSON (Lou Ho).
Post-race veterinary examinations of PISCES STAR (App S Saddam) and TRUSON (Lou Ho) revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of BRIGHT LIFE (J De Souza) and FRAAJILISTIC (App M Sathiaa) revealed that both these gelding had returned with respiratory distress and as such, will each be required to pass a test (1000M/Vet) before being declared to race again.
An Inquiry into the riding and handling of HELLO SAYANG (App J Daniel) will be held on a date to be fixed.
As Jockey Lou Ho, the rider of TRUSON had left the course, he will be questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the gelding on a date to be fixed.

MESSI which was up 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
MESSI (F Yap) was slow into stride.
Passing the 800M, GET THE LOTSKI (App M Sathiaa) had to be steadied when it ran up to the heels of TRUDEAU (App Z Khairil).
SEA WORLD (App T Krisna) raced wide rounding the turn and into the straight.
Jockey M Ganeesh, the rider of RUSH reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of RUSH revealed no obvious abnormality.
Post-race veterinary examinations of LUCK SUCCESS (CK Tan), MESSI, GLORY AGE (J Low) and GET THE LOTSKI revealed no obvious abnormality.
