RACE 1 (R1423) CLASS 5 – 1400M
MR WHYTE, a course scratching as it had respiratory infection, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
SING ENERGY (HS Gill) and SUPERB SEVEN (C Goon) were both slow into stride and showed no early pace despite being urged.
SKYHAWK (SU Lim) had to be steadied racing to the 1300M to avoid the heels of SONIC-X (HK Cheng) which shifted in. Jockey HK Cheng was shown the vision of the incident and warned to exercise more care in similar circumstances in the future.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that GHOST CITY (Z Khairil) returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of SKYHAWK and TRAVERTINE (S Anandan) revealed no obvious abnormality. However, TRAVERTINE returned having cast its near fore plate.
Jockey HS Gill, the rider of SING ENERGY reported that his mount was not striding out freely and could not handle the going. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockey C Goon, the rider of SUPERB SEVEN, reported that his mount could not handle the going.

RACE 2 (R1424) CLASS 4 – 1400M
IKING (App KC Tham) which was fractious after being loaded was taken out for a veterinary examination and passed fit to race. The tongue-tie on IKING was re-fitted behind the barriers.
IKING showed no early pace despite being urged and lost ground.
Post-race veterinary examinations of SAND BANK (S Anandan), JUBILATION (C Goon) and BABY POLO (App AK Lim) revealed no obvious abnormality. JUBILATION was Impounded for further veterinary and analytical examination.
App J Daniel, the rider of Q NINE MAGIC, in the presence of his Acting Master, Trainer K Coetzee, was fined RM500/- under MRA Rule 44(12) for making a celebratory gesture prior to the finish of the race.
Jockey S Anandan, the rider of SAND BANK, reported that his whip broke during the running of the race.
Jockey C Goon, the rider of JUBILATION, reported that his mount could not handle the going.

RACE 3 (R1425) OPEN MAIDEN – 1200M
[WEIGHT-FOR-AGE]
SUPER DRAGON, a course scratching as it was bruised off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
KNIGHT HARLOOK, a course scratching as it had sustained a nail prick off fore foot, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
GRIZABELLA MEMORY which was up 16kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
The Stewards confirmed that RUN BABY RUN had passed its Race Trial on 24th October 2017.
GOLDEN SAND (HK Cheng) and RUN BABY RUN (App KC Tham) were both slow into stride.
RUN BABY RUN showed no early pace.
CROWN PRINCE (App CK Khaw) laid in passing the 200M and as a result, App CK Khaw had to stop riding and straighten the gelding.
Post-race veterinary examinations of DEE MAJULAH (J Mallyon) and GRIZABELLA MEMORY (App S Rosmizan) revealed no obvious abnormality.
Jockey J Mallyon, the rider of DEE MAJULAH, reported that his mount could not handle the going. DEE MAJLAH which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RACE 4 (R1426) CLASS 3 – 1200M
TAFFETAS, a course scratching as it sustained a nail bind near fore, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
SHANGHAI BUND which was up 26kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.
KEEN DRAGON (App AM Aizat) and MIA (J De Souza) were both checked at the start when RELAU STAR (Z Khairil) jumped away awkwardly inwards, resulting in both horses losing ground.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that YOU ARE GENIUS (M Yusri) returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
Post-race veterinary examinations of KERAUNO (S Anandan), KEEN DRAGON, RELAU STAR and EATONS GOLD (J Mallyon) revealed no obvious abnormality. However, EATONS GOLD returned having cast its off fore plate.

RACE 5 (R1427) CLASS 5 – 1600M
Jockey SS Vanan (ALL WEALTH) was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) as read with MRA Rule 44(2) for failing to arrive on course at least one hour prior to the advertised time of his carded engagement.
Apprentice AM Aizat was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) as read with MRA Rule 107(10) for failing to make the carded weight on SILENT DREAMS. The Stewards permitted App S Saddam to replace App AM Aizat as the rider of SILENT DREAMS.
RUNFORIT (CK Tan) broke through the gate. The gelding was restrained by its rider, checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and was re-boxed.
Acting on a report from the Official Starter that barrier 2 was damaged and barrier 3 was unable to be fully closed, the Stewards permitted the field to be reloaded outwards accordingly from barrier 4.
MESSI (Z Khairil) was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the start and was passed fit to race.
PISCES JET (SU Lim) jumped away awkwardly.
Post-race veterinary examinations of NAPOLEON (WK Yan), TOKO (App KC Wong) and PISCES JET revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE 6 (R1428) CLASS 5 – 1200M
ANAK WARRIOR (S Anandan) and SEE FOR YOURSELF (Z Khairil) had to be re-weighed and re-saddled in the saddling yard prior to going to the barriers.
MR JAI (CK Tan) and BAZINGA (App S Rosmizan) brushed on several occasions on jumping away.
BRAHMS AND LISZT (App S Saddam) was slow to begin.
JELUTONG (App CK Khaw) had to be eased racing to the 800M to avoid the heels of BAZINGA which rolled in and lost ground.
JELUTONG shifted out over the concluding stages and finished wide on the track.
Post-race veterinary examinations of JELUTONG, CIZEN BROTHER (J De Souza) and MARCO POLO (App AK Lim) revealed no obvious abnormality. JELUTONG was Impounded for further veterinary and analytical examination.
Jockey SU Lim, the rider of DARK EXPRESS, reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
