RACE 1 (R1068) CLASS 5 (B) – 1300M (LONG COURSE B)

RED SAPPHIRE (App L De Souza) and GLORY KID (App A Suriya) were both slow into stride.

NASI LEMAK (S Salee) was slow to begin.

TALISMAN (Y Aify) was obliged to race wide from the 1000M.

In the early stages, EMPEROR WARRIOR (S Ruzaini) raced fiercely.

Near the 500M, POLO GAGA (B Pinheiro) commenced to lay out, bumping MUSANG KING (AK Lim) near the 350M. POLO GAGA continued to shift outwards brushing MUSANG KING. Jockey B Pinheiro was warned that he must straighten his mount when they shift inwards in future.

RED SAPPPHIRE was impeded when attempting a marginal run on the inside of READY TO STRIKE (KC Wong) at the 250M and then bumped with READY TO STRIKE at the 50M.

A post-race veterinary examination of ELITE GUSTAVO (App CK Khaw) revealed that the gelding returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

When questioned, Jockey S Salee stated that NASI LEMAK was sitting back on the stalls and he appealed to the Starter. NASI LEMAK had then laid outwards for several strides after jumping. NASI LEMAK will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again for having performed poorly.

An inquiry into the improved performance of MUSANG KING (AK Lim) will be held at a date to be fixed.

RACE 2 (R1069) CLASS 5 (A) – 1300M (LONG COURSE B)

Acting on veterinary advice that YES BOSSY (Y Aify) had sustained multiple injuries to its both hind legs, the gelding will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

After jumping awkwardly, UNION JAC (HS Gill) raced wide in the early stages.

ELF’S DREAM (J De Souza) jumped with its head in the air and was then tightened, and after being blocked in the straight, was carried wide when CHAMPION FACE (App CK Khaw) shifted out. App CK Khaw was warned that he must straighten more quickly in future.

At the 800M, CHAMPION FACE rolled in causing D’GREAT WALL (AK Lim) to be steadied.

When questioned, Jockey J De Souza, the rider of ELF’S DREAM, stated that he had been forced to race further back than he wished after jumping awkwardly and crowded at the start. He also explained that although in a rearward position on straightening, he was impeded when carried wide in the straight.

SOON SEEKER was slow into stride.

In the early stages, SMART MASTER (SU Lim) was obliged to race wide.

SCORPION KING (AK Lim) raced wide in the middle stages.

At the 500M, BORN A FIGHTER steadied when GREENSTONE (J Low) which had clipped the heels of SEGAR THE BEST, rolled in

BORN A FIGHTER was blocked for a clear run from the 450M to the 300M, and again over the final 75M.

When questioned regarding the poor performance of ARLO, Jockey S Ruzaini advised that the gelding had raced uncompetitively from the beginning, and was off the bit early in the race. He also stated that over the final 250M, ARLO had commenced to shorten stride.

When questioned, Trainer C Leck stated that ARLO had considerable history of leg problems having had many starts, and he believed that at its previous winning start, the gelding had been advantaged by the “yielding” state of track, and that it had not performed well on “good” surface. The Stewards informed him to report back to the Stewards if there is anything amiss with the gelding during the week. A post-race veterinary examination of ARLO revealed no significant finding.

A post-race veterinary examination of SONG KID (App CK Khaw) revealed no significant finding.

CONDADO (S Salee) dipped shortly after the start.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, App CK Khaw, the rider of SATELLITE BOY, in the presence of his employing trainer, Trainer R Lines, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that over the final stages, he shifted out crowding D’GREAT VULTURE (J De Souza) which had to be restrained. ROC THAT (SU Lim) which was following, was impeded.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App CK Khaw’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 26 August 2019 and to expire on 8 September 2019, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (6:26pm).

STAR INVINCIBLE (S Ruzaini) was impeded near the 500M when attempting a run on the inside of BAKUTEH (S Salee).

When questioned as the reason I AM THE BOSS (App CK Khaw) had led as opposed to its previous two (2) starts, Trainer S Siva stated that I AM THE BOSS had been trapped wide on both of those occasions. He advised that today, he instructed that I AM THE  BOSS be ridden in handy position, however, App CK Khaw advised that had been left in front when nothing else wished to lead. Trainer S Siva was of the opinion that I AM THE BOSS which was back to its racing weight, was best suited when ridden for pace.

RACE 8 (R1075) CLASS 5 (A) – 1600M (LONG COURSE B)

POWERFUL AS WIND (HS Gill) raced fiercely and was obliged to race wide in the early and middle stages. When questioned, Jockey HS Gill advised that after jumping well, he attempted to ride POWERFUL AS WIND to be positioned handy and with cover, however, he had been unable to restrain the gelding and found himself trapped on the outside of BEAUTIFUL ONE (B Pinheiro) racing in a wide position until straightening where POWERFUL AS WIND had tired markedly in the straight. He was of the opinion that the 1600M first up was unsuitable for POWERFUL AS WIND as he had been unable to ride it as instructed.

Further, that the gelding was inclined to shy away from runners and he had again found himself at the rear. Trainer BT Lim stated that GHOST SPIRIT was a rather limited individual and although leading at its past two (2) starts had faded, he had thus considered it better to allow GHOST SPIRIT to race where it was comfortable.

He confirmed that GHOST SPIRIT was a weak horse which was very wary of other runners and as such he had made numerous gear changes. It was his intention to recommend to the owners that GHOST SPIRIT be given the opportunity to race in a less competitive environment.

Trainer L Moy stated that STREET OF LONDON as a 10-year-old had health issues, that the 1200M of the race was too short but he was unable to start STREET OF LONDON after its preferred distance of 1600M.

Jockey Y Aify was advised that he must ride all mounts, so as to leave no doubt as to his purpose in every race.

RACE 8 (R975) CLASS 4 (A) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A)

SUPERSTARDOM (App A Suriya) jumped with its head in the air.

Before mounting, Jockey J De Souza (LARSON) advised that his mount did not have his saddle. It was ascertained that CONFEAT (O Chavez) was saddled with Jockey J De Souza’s saddle. Both riders Jockey O Chavez (CONFEAT) and Jockey J De Souza (LARSON) were reweighed and this necessitated a delay of 10 minutes.

On Inquiry, the Stewards were satisfied that the shared Valet of Jockeys O Chavez and J De Souza had inadvertently placed the incorrect saddle cloth numbers with their saddles.

Valet Ismail Bin Salleh (V.11) pleaded guilty to a charge of negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he as a licensed Valet acting on behalf of Jockeys O Chavez and J De Souza in this race, mistakenly add the wrong saddle cloth numbers for CONFEAT and LARSON respectively.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Valet Ismail’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous related record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended for a period of one (1) month with effect from 5 August 2019 and to expire on 4 September 2019, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (7:20pm).

Jockey AK Lim, the rider of TYPHON, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of TYPHON revealed that it was lame off fore and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

Trainer F Maynard, the trainer of INTROIT, when questioned as to why the gelding had raced in rearward position throughout, advised that the gelding had led at its previous start some 5 weeks prior in a weaker class. With today’s distance (1200M), he stated that he had instructed that INTROIT to be ridden in a rearward position as the horse was best suited over a longer distance. Jockey SU Lim, the rider of INTROIT, stated that the gelding had showed no pace and had appeared to resent the kick-back.

An objection was lodged by Jockey AK Lim, the rider of BRILLIANT STAR, placed second against SPIN FIRE (App WK Lee), being declared the winner, on the grounds of alleged interference over the final 150M. After considering the evidence, the Racing Stewards were of the opinion that the alleged interference had not affected the result of the race. The objection was overruled and the result stood. App WK Lee was warned that he must straighten his mount more quickly when shifting ground in future.

BORN A FIGHTER (B Pinheiro) laid out under pressure over the closing stages.

A post-race veterinary examination of GALLOPY SWIFT (App CK Khaw) revealed that it was lame off fore and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

Jockey Y Aify, the rider of STREET OF LONDON, will be questioned regarding his riding in the early part of the straight at a date to be fixed.

STIPENDIARY STEWARDS’ REPORT

SELANGOR TURF CLUB JULY MEETING 2019

SATURDAY, 20 JULY 2019

STATE OF TRACK: Good

[Course B (LC) – Rail 4M out in back straight shifting to 12.5M in front straight.]

Panel of Stipendiary Stewards:

Mr Fin Powrie (Chief Stipendiary Steward), Mr Thanaraja Kasinathan (Stipendiary Steward), Mr Nigel Chong (Stipendiary Steward) & Mr Jarry Chong (Stipendiary Steward).

RACE 1 (R892) CLASS 5 (B) – 1300M (LONG COURSE B)

BEIJING STAR (B Pinheiro) was slow to begin.

When struck with the whip, CHAMPAGNE ROSE (App L De Souza) drifted out approaching the 150M.

When blocked near the 75M, BEIJING STAR shifted out and brushed the hind-quarters of EMPEROR WARRIOR (AK Lim).

Jockey S Ruzaini, the rider of PHANTASOS, was fined RM500/- under MRA Rule 41(6)(b) for using his whip in an excessive manner. Jockey S Ruzaini reported after the race that his horse was not striding out freely.  A post-race veterinary examination of PHANTASOS revealed no significant finding.

RED EMPRESS (HS Gill) returned having cast its near fore plate. POLO GAGA (App S Saddam) returned with a cut to the commissure of its mouth. POLO GAGA will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

RACE 2 (R893) CLASS 5 (B) – 1300M (LONG COURSE B)

On jumping, MERCHANT MARINE (B Pinheiro) jumped outwards at the same time as ELITE GUSTAVO (J Low) veered in with those geldings bumping.

LIKA TIGER (App L De Souza) was slow to begin.

MEWTWO (C Goon) was slow into stride.

MAGIC RANGER (S Anandan) raced fiercely, laid outwards turning into the turn near the 850M.

When questioned regarding the performance of MEWTWO, Jockey C Goon stated that MEWTWO had been slow to begin as at its previous starts, the mare was also reluctant to race competitively in the early stages and he had pushed it from the 1000M. He was of the opinion that MEWTWO was unsuited by the tightness of the track although it had made good ground in the straight.

Trainer L Moy advised that the mare had shown an inclination of being tardy at the start. He also believed that the 1300M was now too short and would endeavour to start the mare over a longer distance in its next start.

Post-race veterinary examinations of ELEGENT (KC Wong) and LIKA TIGER revealed no significant finding.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that MERCHANT MARINE returned having cast its off fore plate.

App S Saddam, the rider of SPARKLER, reported that his horse was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of SPARKLER (App S Saddam) revealed that it was lame near fore and returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress, and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

Jockey C Goon pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 44(6) for failing to ride to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey C Goon’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous related record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) months with effect from 29 July 2019 and to expire on 28 September 2019, both dates inclusive. Jockey S Ruzaini, the rider of SHOWAR, reported that his whip was knocked out of his hand by the whip of App CK Khaw, the rider of LINCOLN CITY, near the 75M.

The Stewards inquired into the riding of ROCK EAGLE. Trainer SY Lim advised that the gelding had a bad history of barrier problems and he had instructed App WK Lee to try to jump ROCK EAGLE and be midfield. App WK Lee stated that he was last to be loaded, and was not ready and has not taken hold of his breast-check. The start had taken him by surprise and he lost balance, falling back on ROCK EAGLE’s mouth. Subsequently, the gelding lost ground.

After considering this evidence, the Stewards instructed that App WK Lee perform ten (10) satisfactory Barrier Trials before being permitted to ride in races again. Trainer SY Lim was advised that ROCK EAGLE will be required to pass 2 tests (1000M/vet from the starting stall tests) before being declared to race again. A post-race veterinary examination of ROCK EAGLE revealed no significant finding.

GENERAL REPORT(S) – SLTC

RACE 1 (R841) CLASS 5 (B)– 1100M (SHORT COURSE A), SUNDAY, 7 JULY 2019, SELANGOR TURF CLUB JULY MEETING 2019

The Stewards concluded an inquiry into an interference approaching the 850M in the above race.

Approaching the 850M, ONCE A THIEF crowded BELIEVE IT OR NOT which in turn caused WILL BE BETTER (App M Lukman) to be checked, BARKER ROAD KID (App L De Souza) and POLO GAGA (S Ruzaini) which were following, were severely inconvenienced. On inquiry, Jockey Y Aify, the rider of ONCE A THIEF, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) for shifting in at this stage and causing this incident.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey Y Aify’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of three (3) Malaysian race days with effect from 14 July 2019 and to expire on 21 July 2019, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

RACE 6 (R836) CLASS 3 – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A), SATURDAY, 6 JULY 2019, SELANGOR TURF CLUB JULY MEETING 2019

The Stewards, on 9 July 2019 at the Selangor Turf Club, concluded an inquiry into the running and handling of SUPER MARIO. Further evidence was taken from Jockey SU Lim and Trainer SY Lim, the rider and trainer of SUPER MARIO respectively. The Stewards also took evidence from Dr Shri Kanth, Senior Veterinary Surgeon of SLTC.

Jockey SU Lim, the rider of SUPER MARIO, was found guilty to a charge under MRA Rule 44(10) for failing to ride to the satisfaction of the Stewards. The particulars of the charge were that:

  1. He failed to take a gap when it presented itself at about the 350M when he was in a position and able to do so; and
  2. Over the final 250M, his whip use and vigour in the absence of his whip use, was not sufficient and failed to satisfy the Stewards.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey SU Lim’s mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. Jockey SU Lim was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) month with effect from 21 July 2019 and to expire on 20 August 2019, both dates inclusive, to be served consecutively with his current suspension which ends on 20 July 2019. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (3pm).

Jockey SU Lim subsequently exercised his Right of Appeal on 10 July 2019 and applied for a Stay of Sentence. The Stewards considered the application for a stay which was granted. The Appeal will be held at a date to be fixed.

RACE 4 (R844) CLASS 4 (A)– 1100M (SHORT COURSE A), SUNDAY, 7 JULY 2019, SELANGOR TURF CLUB JULY MEETING 2019

The Stewards, on 9 July 2019 at the Selangor Turf Club, concluded an inquiry into the riding of CHAR SIEW. Evidence was taken from Jockey M Ganeesh and Trainer MW Teh, the rider and trainer of CHAR SIEW respectively.

Trainer MW Teh advised that the gelding shifted badly when ridden with the whip at its last start when winning and as such, he had instructed Jockey M Ganeesh to use the whip more sparingly. He was also of the opinion that CHAR SIEW would not show early pace to be close to the lead.

Jockey M Ganeesh confirmed his instructions and advised that he had attempted to ride CHAR SIEW vigourously but with a moderated whip action.

Whilst accepting this, the Stewards warned Trainer MW Teh that he was obliged under the rules to advise the Stewards any matter or instructions which might affect the performance of any of his runners.

RACE 7 (R837) CLASS 4 (B) – 1400M (SHORT COURSE A), SATURDAY, 6 JULY 2019, SELANGOR TURF CLUB JULY MEETING 2019

The Stewards, on 9 July 2019 at the Selangor Turf Club, concluded an inquiry into the running and handling of TEH TARIK. Evidence was taken from Jockey M Ganeesh and Trainer SY Lim, the rider and trainer of TEH TARIK respectively.

Jockey M Ganeesh, the rider of TEH TARIK, was found guilty of a charge under MRA Rule 44(10) for failing to ride to the satisfaction of the Stewards. The particulars of the charge were that:

  1. He failed to put any pressure on TEH TARIK in the early stages of the race, simply letting TEH TARIK fall out from the start;
  2. He effectively sat and restrained TEH TARIK in a rearward position in effectively 2nd or 3rd last from approximately the 850M mark and the 500M mark when in a position to improve his position and move forward in the field with no effort; and
  3. He rode TEH TARIK in the straight in a manner which did not assist TEH TARIK which hung in on 3 occasions, and when he had an opportunity to change his whip to the left hand or to straighten in a more reasonable fashion.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey M Ganeesh’s previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. Jockey M Ganeesh was suspended from riding in races for a period of six (6) months with immediate effect from 9 July 2019 and to expire on 8 January 2020, both dates inclusive. Further, he was fined RM50,000/- and advised of his Right of Appeal (5:15pm).

Jockey M Ganeesh subsequently exercised his Right of Appeal on 10 July 2019 and applied for a Stay of Sentence. The Stewards considered the application for a stay which was denied. L’KEN (App R Nuqman) was slow to begin.

SO THE THING (App S Saddam) veered outwards at the start and collided heavily with D’GREAT SONG (R Shafiq) which had to be restrained and lost considerable ground.

At about the 300M, KUTTNER (AK Lim) had to be steadied when laying in onto the heels of SMOOTHLY (S Ruzaini).

A post-race veterinary examination of BATTLE HORSE revealed that the gelding bled and will be barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3) and thereafter will be required to pass a bleeder’s test before being declared to race again.

When questioned, Jockey R Shafiq stated that D’GREAT SONG had been interfered badly at the start when the horse on his inside had veered outwards, thereafter the mare raced with its head in the air and appeared to resent the kickback. He had taken D’GREAT SONG outwards before the 550M to avoid the kickback, and had pushed the mare from this stage but it failed to respond. A subsequent veterinary examination of D’GREAT SONG revealed no significant finding.

D’GREAT SWIFT (App L De Souza) was slow to begin.

JJ STAR (R Shafiq) raced wide in the early stages.

App S Uzair was questioned as to why BEAUTIFUL ONE was so far back in the early and middle stages. He advised that the gelding had become detached from the field at the first bend and had a tendency to lay out for the entire race. He also stated that at the turn in the straight, he had not pushed BEAUTIFUL ONE for fear that it would hang out further.

Trainer L Moy advised the Stewards that he had instructed for BEAUTIFUL ONE to be ridden on the rail and was disappointed in the first viewing. However, after viewing the patrol film, he agreed with the Stewards that BEAUTIFUL ONE laid out considerably despite the efforts of App S Uzair. In light of this, the Stewards instructed Trainer L Moy to engage a senior rider on BEAUTIFUL ONE at its next starts.

RACE 4 (R630) STAYER STAKES A – 2000M (SHORT COURSE A)

After being placed in its barrier, EBTIHAAL (S Anandan) became fractious and reared over, becoming trapped under the stalls. EBTIHAAL suffered a shock and expired shortly after, was withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 3:04pm. The removal of the deceased horse necessitated a delay of the commencement of the race. A post-mortem examination of the EBTIHAAL will be conducted and subsequent report will be submitted by the Veterinary Surgeon.

On jumping, SMART EAGLE (App J Daniel) veered out, bumping GOLDEN TYCOON (S Ruzaini).

On jumping, LING CHONG (Y Aify) was bumped by ARC RIDER (J De Souza) and passing the 800M, was held tight on the inside of ARC RIDER.

BIG SUPER (App A Zaimuddin) was tightened at the start when HAPPY START (App A Suriya) shifted in.

In the middle stages, SMART EAGLE raced wide.

At the 700M, BIG SUPER had to be restrained off the heels of ARC RAIDER.

When questioned, Jockey J De Souza, the rider of ARC RAIDER, stated that the gelding was in a heavy condition and although travelling well in the early stages, it struggled badly from the 1000M as such, was not persistent in riding the gelding vigourously from shortly after. A post-race veterinary examination of ARC RAIDER revealed that it was lame near fore and as such will be required to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again.

Trainer F Maynard will be questioned regarding the presentation of ARC RAIDER.

RACE 7 (R633) CLASS 3 – 1400M (SHORT COURSE A)

ADVANCETC XPLORE TROPHY

This race was rescheduled to start at 4:10pm.

Trainer MW Teh, the trainer of WE’RE THE WORLD (HK Cheng), was reminded of his obligations to seek the Stewards’ prior permission for his jockeys to ride overweight in future.

TILSWORTH FREDDIE (App A Suriya) and LISTEN (App CK Khaw) were both slow to begin.

LISTEN (App CK Khaw) was inclined to lay inwards near the 250M and passing the 200M, had to be steadied when D’GREAT VULTURE had drifted out. When questioned, App CK Khaw advised that he had been instructed that from his wide draw, to jump the gelding and get in a comfortable position as much as possible. Further that although he was satisfied early, he had lost ground when improving near the 250M and was again impeded shortly after.

App S Uzair, the rider of WOW, lost his whip at about the 200M and was fined RM250/- for negligence under MRA Rule 152(5)(a).

WE’RE THE WORLD laid inwards over the final 100M resulting in Jockey HK Cheng having to stop riding and straighten the gelding. Jockey HK Cheng was warned with regards to the manner which he had used his whip.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, App S Uzair, the rider of WOW, in the presence of his Master, Trainer L Moy, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that approaching the 1300M, he shifted in on WOW causing D’GREAT VULTURE (J Low) to be checked.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration App S Uzair’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He subsequently was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days, subject to licensing provisions. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (6:38pm).

RACE 9 (R635) CLASS 4 (A) – 1200M (SHORT COURSE A)

Upon jumping, CHAR KWAY TEOW (App A Suriya) and GOLD POWER (R Shafiq) made contact.

BIG LIGHTNING (C Goon) raced wide throughout.

Shortly after the start, CHAR KWAY TEOW had to be steadied when crossed by LISBOA STAR (App L De Souza).

SUPER LINE (S Ruzaini) raced wide in the middle stages.

Trainer BT Lim was questioned regarding the apparent change in tactics for ELITE GENERAL (HS Gill) as compared to its previous start. He advised the Stewards that over the shorter distances of 1100/1200M at its previous 2 starts, he had instructed that the gelding not be pushed hard due to its extremely wide barrier. Further, with today’s inside draw, he considered that it was appropriate to instruct for ELITE GENERAL to be ridden forward, not necessarily leading.

In accepting this explanation, the Stewards reminded Trainer BT Lim of his obligations to advise the Stewards should he consider a change of racing tactics.

In the early stages, BIG BANK (C Goon) pulled fiercely with its head in the air.

TEH TARIK (HK Cheng) and MOON BABY (J Low) raced wide in the early stages.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey HK Cheng, the rider of TEH TARIK, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that at the 500M, he rolled in causing MOON BABY to be restrained. Shortly after this, OPTIMUS (App L De Souza) had to be steadied and taken outwards to avoid the heels of MOON BABY.  Further, that at the 365M, he shifted in and caused BIG BANK to be restrained.

In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey HK Cheng’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of three (3) Malaysian race days with effect from 2 June 2019 and to expire on 9 June 2019, both dates inclusive, to be served consecutively with his current suspension which will expire on 1 June 2019.
