The Panel of Stewards questioned Trainer PK Leong, the trainer of FIELD FORCE into the gelding’s improved performance today as against the last start on 25th May 2019.    He stated that the gelding had worked normally during the week.  The Panel of Stewards noted that the gelding was down 7kgs in body weight today as compared to its weight from its last start.  He further stated that the track suited the gelding today and FIELD FORCE was racing in a weaker field.  His explanations were noted.  Trainer PK Leong was reminded of the provisions of MRA Rule 117(3) regarding ‘in-and-out’ running.

The Panel of Stewards reviewed the vision of FIELD FORCE’s run in Race 4 of 25th May 2019 and noted that FIELD FORCE had failed to show the same early speed in the early stages of the race, despite being urged as it did in today’s race.
