Malaysia 3yo Champanionship is back! The first heat and final will be held at Penang Turf Club.

All heats and meeting are open to set weights. The race is set for a distance of about 1200 meters. Each Heat will carry prize money of RM100,000. Final for the championship will carry prize money of RM200,000.

Terms & Conditions:

1) The race will be restricted to 3 years old only at the time of running.

2) Nomination fee of RM50 for all entries for the series.

3) A late Nomination Fee is RM100.

4) Entry fee for Heats are RM225 per horse, whilst entry fee for final is RM350 per horse.

5) Weights would be allocated as the table and conditions below:

Remarks:

1) Fillies would be given 1.5kg allowance.

2) Minimum top weight 57.0kg.

3) Riders allowances will not be permitted.

4) Winner for each heat will win a set in Final.

5) Winner for each heat is not eligible to participate in next meeting.   

6) Runners will be selected by the Panel Of Handicappers.

7) The field will be limited to 14 starters and 3 Emergency Acceptors.

8) The race will be restricted to 3 years old only at the time of running.

9) Subject to payment of the required fees, entries are restricted to:-

  1. All three-year old horses registered in the Malayan Racing Association (Malaysia) circuit.
  2. Horses must be cleared from any Official Race. Trial/ Embargoes prior to the Final Acceptance.

10) The entry fee will be refund (less RM100 administrative expenses) on the following condition:-

  1. The acceptor is not selected for the race by the Panel of Handicappers.
  2. Emergency Acceptor withdrawn on the race day due to capacity field, or
  3. Acceptors withdrawn on veterinary grounds.

11) Nomination and closing of entries

  1. Nomination closing date: 3rd April 2018.
  2. Entries (Final Acceptance) close in accordance to the entries closing date of the particular nominated Heat and meeting.

12) Special Clause: 

The 3 Malaysian Turf Clubs, reserve the right to reject any Nomination or Acceptance for this particular championship and to vary or amend the condition of entry, make any alteration or addition to this programme, change the venue/date for the championship or cancel the championship before or after the closing of entries at its absolute discretion.
