Talented mare XENA looks set to continue her progression through the grades when she steps out in the 1300m Combined Class 2/3 event at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

XENA is coming off a fast-finishing second behind the smart and unbeaten Awesome Storm over 1200m here on February 2.  The five-year-old came from last at the 800m, going down by three lengths. 

XENA  possesses a quick turn of acceleration – as displayed in her 1100m Metro A win here two starts back – and is currently the third highest-rated mare in the country. 

With a record of five wins from 19 starts, she will prove hard to beat.
