Fresh from the record of seven winners the previous weekend, nine times in a row Champion Trainer, Richard Lines continued the quest of winners when saddled a fine treble at the one Day Special Race Meeting at Selangor Turf Club last Saturday.
The Englishman began his winning streak in Race 2 with Rainbow Fish while stablemate Fledgeling finished second.
His second winner was in Race 4 with Sorbeta and concluded the day with his third winner in the following event with Blood Royal from the card of nine races.
Trainer AB Abdullah saddled a double in Race 3 with Commodore Lincoln and in Race 8 with Race For Fame.
Trainers with a single winner were Simon Dunderdale (D’Great Strike, Race 1), MW Teh (Mat Smart, Race 6), Wayne Lim (Superstardom, Race 7) and Charles Leck (Maidanz Beauty, Race 9).

Apprentice CK Khaw and Jockey SU Lim rode a double each respectively, from the card of nine races last Saturday.
CK Khaw rode Rainbow Fish to victory in Race 2 for trainer Richard Lines and his second also for Lines when he rode Blood Royal to win in Race 5.
Jockey SU Lim’s double were in Race 8 with AB Abdullah trained Race For Fame and in the following race with Charles Leck trained Maidanz Beauty.
Riders with a single winner were R.Shafiq (D’Great Strike, Dunderdale, Race 1), Panamanian Oscar Chavez (Commodore Lincoln, AB Abdullah, Race 3), Apprentice L De Souza (Sorbeta, Lines, Race 4), J. Daniel (MW Teh, Mat Smart, Race 6) and Apprentice M.Lukman (W Lim, Superstardom Race 7).
