Trainers Shane Ellis and AB Abdullah took the honours with two winners each respectively in the card of nine races at the Selangor Turf Club one day Special meeting last Saturday.
Shane Ellis saddled Scorpion King in the opening event and went on to win with Mr Hopkins in Race 6. While Abdullah sent Ground Attack to win in Race 4 and Za’eem greeted the judges in Race 8.
Trainers with a single win were Charles Leck (Maidanz Beauty, Race 2), Richard Lines (Gordon G, Race 3), Johnny Lim (Magic Seventy Two, Race 5), Lawson Moy (Allied Power, Race 7) and Wayne Lim (M Seven, Race 9).
Jockey AK Lim was in great form when rode two winners in the card of nine races last Saturday. Lim took the opening event with Shane Ellis trained Scorpion King and waited till the last event when he rode Wayne Lim trained M Seven to win.
Riders with a single win were Apprentice R.Suriya (Maidanz Beauty, Charles Leck, Race 2), last season Champion Apprentice L De Souza rode Richard Lines trained Gordon G to win in Race 3, Jockey KC Wong (Ground Attack, AB Abdullah, Race 4), Apprentice A. Zaimuddin (Magic Seventy Two, Johnny Lim, Race 5), R. Shafiq (Mr Hopkins, Shane Ellis, Race 6), Apprentice S. Uzair (Allied Power, Lawson Moy, Race 7) and Jose De Souza (Za’eem, AB Abdullah, Race 8).
