Three riders injured in race falls

Three jockeys suffered various injuries in an action-packed Race 2 at Sungei Besi here today.
At the top the straight on the long course, approaching the 400m, BIG BANK blundered and fell, bringing down his rider Khaw Choon Kit.
GHOST BAY, who racing on the inside of BIG BANK, could not avoid the fallen horse and fell as well, sending apprentice AR Raiyan to the ground.
MR EXCHEQUER, who was racing behind them, blundered badly when he tried to avoid then fallen BIG BANK and dislodged his jockey Jai Shankar.
All three riders were taken to the hospital.
Khaw suffered a hairline fracture in one of his right ribs.
Raiyan had broken bones on his right leg, the same spot he was operated on previously.
Shankar suffered a hairline fracture on his right foot.
