Promising five-year-old gelding, GIFTED appears set to continue his winning form this Sunday after, when he lines up in the 1100m Open Progress at Kuala Lumpur.
GIFTED will be backing up only eight days after his impressive all the way victory here last Saturday in Class 4 company. The HY Cheng trained gelding dictated from barrier rise and won with consummate ease drawing away by one and half lengths over Ashhab in a quick time of 1:03.61, which was inside of standard time for the track/distance. With a record of three wins from five starts, GIFTED is unbeaten in two tries at the track/distance and has won three of four starts at the Selangor racecourse. He clearly looks set to continue his rise through the grades and despite lugging 3.5kg more than his previous performance he should prove mighty hard to beat again on Sunday.
