The first of two Class 3 events is Race 6 over 1400m and widely travelled galloper, EMERALD LISI (3) is a chance to break the local duck at start number three in the country. The Brazilian bred 6yo won two races in its home country prior to a brief stint in Hong Kong. Posting a win from two runs in Australia back in December 2023, the gelding was spelled immediately before finding his way to Malaysia where his has performed admirably in two starts for the Johnny Lim stable. With some good trial form leading up to his local debut, EMERALD LISI (3) has powered home in both runs and is due to strike.
He will be pitted against the consistent ITALIAN REVOLUTION (10), who blotted his copybook with an uncharacteristic like performance last start when weakening late and can bounce back despite stepping up to the 1400m for the first time.
LIM’S CRAFT (11) is on the upgrade following his 1200m Class 4 win a fortnight ago and has been competitive at this level previously when based in Singapore while PLATINUM ROYALE (4) is yet to miss a place in three starts when produced second up. If emergency acceptor ONG MARI (12) gains a start, he will also come into calculations following successive wins last month.

KONG FU PANDA (2), which finally captured that elusive Group One victory in last year’s Perak Gold Vase, makes his race track return in the 1020m Supreme B (Race 10) contest and goes up against a couple of progressive types including PACIFIC VAMPIRE (1) and MILITARY FLAG (5), which are both second up.
PACIFIC VAMPIRE (1) was pressured throughout when resuming in the Listed Wilayah Silver Bowl two weeks back after finding the early lead. The 5yo is a fast beginner and the tighter confines of Track Two could work in its favour also.
MILITARY FLAG (5) won six races during his first preparation in the country and was far from disgraced when finishing 5th in a Metro A race behind King Arthur recently.
KONG FU PANDA (2) has not raced since his 3rd in the 2000m G1 Penang Gold Cup last December but the versatile 6yo possesses a handy first up statistic (4w from 8sts) and on class alone has the capacity to win.
TE AKAU BEN (6) also caught the eye in that same race won by King Arthur and is a big chance at the weights while MAJOR KING (3) performed well against high grade opposition in Singapore and has trained on looking sharp in a recent trial. The 6yo is also a first up winner.
Race 10 Selections: (1) PACIFIC VAMPIRE (5) MILITARY FLAG (2) KONG FU PANDA (6) TE AKAU BEN

BIG BAD MAMA (4) returns to her favourite track and distance where she remains unbeaten in five starts. Although failing from a wide draw last run, the mare draws much better for the 1020m Class 3 contest (Race 11) on Track Two as the 8yo will no doubt be aiming for an all the way victory.
BINTANG SIXTY-ONE (5) also failed from a deep draw in the Wilayah Silver Bowl last start and from gate four will appreciate the drop in class. The 5yo Irish bred performer has been a good money spinner for connections posting 5 wins from 10 Malaysian starts during his rise through the grades.
RENZO (1) resumes from a bleeding attack sustained in June but did trial well Tuesday week ago for the Sharee Hamilton yard and is one to watch on his local debut.
HEART OF FIRE (2) led throughout over this track and journey two runs back while PACIFIC MV (7) reeled off a quick last sectional when placed 4th in the Wilayah Silver Bowl last start.
