The Selangor Turf Club will host the running of races sponsored by world renowned auction house New Zealand Bloodstock on Sunday, 22 September 2024.

The New Zealand Bloodstock Ready To Run Sale Trophy and New Zealand Bloodstock AirFreight Trophy are held in recognition of the New Zealand Bloodstock’s strong affiliation with the Selangor Turf Club and the Club’s commitment to support the Ready to Run Sale scheduled to be held at the Karaka Sales Centre on 20 and 21 November 2024. The sale’s Breeze Up to be conducted at Te Rapa Racecourse on 21 & 22 October.

The New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run Sale is a world renowned producer of two-year-olds and with its world-beating record from graduates on the racetrack, it is simply the best sale of its kind globally. The sale has built a reputation for integrity and success making it the preferred auction for global buyers to secure Australasia’s top level juveniles.

Showcasing both quality and quantity, an exceptional selection of 404 two-year-olds will go through the Karaka sale ring during the two-day sale in November. In the last five seasons alone, graduates of the Ready to Run Sale have won 29 Group One races and 117 stakes races. 

New Zealand Bloodstock Director of Business Development, Mr Mike Kneebone and New Zealand Thoroughbred Marketing (NZTM) Chief Executive Officer, Mr Andrew Birch will be representing New Zealand Bloodstock at the races this Sunday. Both races will carry stakes of RM50,000and run over a distance on 1200 metres.
