In an effort to attract more racing fans to visit the Club and enjoy the Sport of Kings, the Selangor Turf Club has rented out its existing Public Air-Cond Enclosure to convert the space into a private Club, named as The Kuala Lumpur Jockey Club.

The prayer cum ground breaking ceremony to start the construction and refurbishment of the Enclosure was held recently at the premises. The proposed modern well designed layout ensures that the space would appeal to local and international guests visiting the Club to enjoy the sports.

The Kuala Lumpur Jockey Club is also expected to enhance the overall user experience, as visitors are expected to enjoy a more luxurious, comfortable combined with professional setting, making Selangor Turf Club a preferred venue for gatherings, events and private functions.

The refurbishing and renovation work are expected to be completed by end of June 2025. This would lead to an increase in race day attendance with an influx of potential new horse owners which would contribute to the growth of the Club.
