War Dragon, trained by Lawson Moy has potential to race in better company judging from the easy win in a Class 3 event over 1200m in Race 3. The four-year-old by Battle Paint was tucked in handy spot most of the way and clinched the lead in the run home to win uncontested to make it three wins on a trot. War Dragon win in 1.08.3 seconds equaled the course record held by Captain Obvious (2011) & Forsa Eclipse (2019) Trainer Simon Dunderdale’s Sand Bank should be racing in better company after a pillar post victory in Race 3. The seven-year-old by Dubleo just jumped out to take the lead shortly after the start and thereafter was never headed. Shane Ellis’s Mr Hopkins bears watching for more wins judging from the runaway win in the Open Novice in Race 7.
