Judging from the win, Truson should give another bold showing in the final leg of the Triple Crown Series – The Piala Emas Sultan Selangor over the grueling 2000m on 29 September this year.Trainer SY Lim’s El Tordillo should tune into a top class sprinter after a scantaling victory in Race 4. The six-year-old by Dalghar was tucked in midfield at the early part of the 1200m event and showed a good turn of speed in the run home to pip Premium Stars at the shadows of the winning post.Trainer Frank Maynard’s Calvados broke the ice in fine fashion in Race 7 on Sunday. The five-year-old by Iffraaj was well ridden by Jockey Jackson Low who was kept well in striking distance and drew the challenge in the closing stages of the race to beat Congratu.
