Shanghai Nights once again gave a tip top performance with an impressive victory to capture this years’ running of the Sports Toto Supreme Challenge Cup in Race 8 on Sunday. Trained by HY Cheng, the five-year-old by Ferlax was in the usual midfield spot most part of the race and came with a determined run at the final 200m to beat Selangor Star to win. Shanghai Nights is definitely a classic material. Shane Ellis trained Dutrow was well prepared and lived up to the expectation to win the Class 3 event over 1400m in Race 6. The seven-year-old by Beautiful Crown ran very well all the way to beat Big Bank easily. Should be racing in better class soon. Super Herọ̣̣ No.9̣ ̣̣is the one to note for more wins judging from the victory in the Class 3 event over 1400m in Race 9. The eight-year-old by Rip Van Winkle moved up very well when the heads turned for home to beat Isfahan in a convincing manner. Trainer AB Abdullah’s Alrali broke the ice in fine fashion in Race 4 on Saturday. The five-year-old by Pins railed along gamely in the run home to beat Big G.
