Trainer HY Cheng’s Shanghai Nights once again displayed a creditable performance for a back-to-back victory in the Class 4 (A) event over 1400m in Race 8 last Sunday. The five-year-old by Ferlax was well up at the early part of the race and cleared away in the run home beating Sahm in a comfortable margin. Keep a close watch for more wins are in store and should be racing in top class company soon. Trainer Johnny Lim’s Time To Harvest broke the ice in the Class 4 (B) event over 1400m in Race 3. The five-year-old by Medaglia was tucked in midfield spot till the heads turned for home and slipped along the rails in the run home to coast home for an easy win. Keep track of Time To Harvest for more wins. Trainer Simon Dunderdale’s Fighting Warrior lived up to his workout performance with an impressive win in the Class 4 (A) event over 1400m in Race 9. The nine-year-old by Hold That Tiger was kept in fourth spot most of the journey and clinched the lead in the run home to beat Bella Volce. Fighting Warrior should be heading for better class soon. Trainer AB Abdullah’s The Crown Jewel made a pillar to post victory in the Novice race over 1300m in Race 7. The five-year-old by Skilled was out in flash and thereafter was never challenged to beat Spirit Of Safar easily. The Crown Jewel should be on the heading for better class and would be suited over a longer trip.
