Last start maiden winner DAN IMPACT appears set to defy the class rise as he faces a more challenging assignment in the 1500m Class 4 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

DAN IMPACT made his debut and struggled against Class 4 opposition, finishing unplaced in Hong Kong back in February last year. The lightly raced four year old transferred to the Selangor stables of Richard Lines soon after and received every chance when 2nd first up over 1200 here on January 23.

DAN IMPACT stepped up to the 1500m trip and easily accounted for a maiden lineup scoring by two lengths defeating subsequent winner, Suspicious Mind two weeks later.
