AN ENTHRALLING CLASH EXPECTED IN GOLD CUP
Kuala Lumpur : Mar 16, 2025

A quality field of Malaysia’s premier sprinters are set for battle in this year’s 1200m G1 Tunku Gold Cup to be contested in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
2024 winner, CHEVAL BLANC will be attempting to defend his title and chalk up his fifth group one win in the country.
Last season’s best performed galloper, ANTIPODEAN will be aiming for his second group win from as many starts after suffering two defeats in both runs this campaign. WITNESSIMPACT, arguably Malaysia’s most progressive galloper last season, makes his G1 debut and he did lower the colours of ANTIPODEAN back in January.

There is an abundance of early speed in the race and from the maps, PACIFIC VAMPIRE is likely to roll forward and dictate the pace.
Versatile performer, GOLDEN PEGASUS resumes and was placed twice in group one company last year.
