Consistent performer PERFECT appears ideally placed for a wining return in the 1400m Supreme C contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

Since posting his latest win over the track and distance in January, PERFECT has finished runner-up in two outings since. At his most recent start, the seven-year-old worked forward from an outside gate before suffering a short head defeat behind stable mate, Intrepid in a Class 4 event at Ipoh three weeks ago.

Yet to finish out of the top two placings in eight Malaysian starts, PERFECT is a reliable beginner who creates his own luck and should be hard to beat on home turf this weekend.
