At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey KC Low, the rider of LUEN ON FEELINGS, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that approaching the 1100M whilst riding LUEN ON FEELINGS, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ROCKETSHIP (Z Khairil) which in turn, caused interference to COMMANDER (App T Ammar).
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey KC Low’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day with effect from 18 November 2024 and to expire on 23 November 2024, both dates inclusive. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race day, he was also fined RM1,500/-. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey Z Khairil, the rider of BIG BAD MAMA, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that at approximately the 900M mark whilst riding BIG BAD MAMA, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to PACIFIC HERO (TH Koh) and ORIENTAL HALFLAMMA (J Low).
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey Z Khairil’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of one (1) Malaysian race day with effect from 18 November 2024 and to expire on 24 November 2024, both dates inclusive. In lieu of one (1) Malaysian race day, he was also fined RM1,500/-. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey TH Koh, the rider of PACIFIC EMPIRE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that at approximately the 700M mark whilst riding PACIFIC EMPIRE, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to MISTY SWIFT (S Ruzaini).
In assessing the penalty, the Stewards took into consideration Jockey TH Koh’s guilty plea, mitigating factors, previous riding record and his submissions on penalty. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) Malaysian race days with effect from 18 November 2024 and to expire on 1 December 2024, both dates inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
