Jebel Ali Racecourse, has a righthanded horseshoe racetrack with a unique surface that has a mixture between sand and oil which suits dirt and turf horses, it is the most popular racetrack surface in the region.
JARC has a track of 2200 metres, with a 900-metre run into the finish line, and it has a 1400-metre straight course.
In the last 200 metres on the track, it has a bit of a steep uphill-like structure that resembles racetracks in the UK. The unique feature gives more action and more thrill towards the finish line. The horses on this long straight can rest after the bind, where they can push through the finish line.
