Nine year old galloper, SACRED TONIC seems to be the perennial bridesmaid lately but appears on target to break the winning drought in the 1100m Class 4 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
SACRED TONIC will be coming off four successive seconds, the most recent over 1100m here a fortnight ago. The S Siva trained gelding received a slight bump after the start before closing off from midfield to finish 1.25 lengths behind the winner.
SACRED TONIC hasn’t won since he was successful over Sunday’s track and distance in June last year. Dropping back to the ‘B” division of Class 4 means he will carry more weight but he is overdue for a win.
