Trainer Richard Lines’s Mr Connery ̣̣̣(inner horse) looks fit in a light exercise at Selangor Turf Club this morning. Taken out by a track rider, the nine-year-old by Mr Nancho did a canter first and then was restrained to do pace work on a tight hold. Last outing, Mr Connery ran a fair fourth to Silent Prince over 1600m at this course early this month. Stepping up from that effort and looking fit, Mr Connery will be ridden by Apprentice of the month for February L De Souza in a Class 5 (A) event over 1400m in Race 2 on Saturday.

RACE 1: Air Power did two rounds canter.
RACE 2: Zilfikar was given two rounds trot and took it lightly with pace work.
RACE 3: D’Great Magic was tested with two rounds canter.
RACE 4: First Light did a canter and then took it easy with pace work.
RACE 6: Desire Sky cantered two rounds.
RACE 7: Global Army did two rounds trot and then was hard held to do pace work.
Symbol Of Courage cantered two rounds.
RACE 8: Best Tothelign was given two rounds trot and a canter.
Limitless Stout did a trot and then on the second lap went fast in the last 200m. Chino Dinero did a trot and a canter.
RACE 9: La Famila cantered and then did a hit out in 44.6 seconds.
RACE 10: Kyo cantered two rounds.
The going was good. All workouts were done on the sand track.
