Trainer SY Lim’s Aud Dollar should be racing in better company soon, judging from the impressive win in Class 3 event over 1200m in Race 8 at Selangor Turf Club last Sunday. The seven-year-old mare by Casino Prince was well handled by Jockey Calvin Goon who kept well in touch with the early leaders and made the usual bid at the final 300m to coast home an easy victory. Aud Dollar showed a return to form and bears watching next time out for more wins. Trainer Mohd Sukri’s Champion Face should break the ice judging from a very good fourth to Big Bus in the Open Maiden event over 1200m in Race 6. The four-year-old by Sundarban overcome the wide barrier draw and ran on strongly in the closing stages of the race to be on board. Keep a close watch on trainer Richard Lines’s D Great Eminence, should greet the judges soon. The six-year-old by Proart was well up with the pace and found one to beat in Meizu in the Class 4 (A) event over 1200m in Race 4. Trainer SY Lim’s Scrat deserve another chance after a good second to Tiger Bay in Class 4 (B) event over 1200m. The eight-year-old by Jet Spur was tucked in hand spot most of the way and found the winner a shade too good.
